Description: Contemporary and classic, entirely reimagined. A modern lobby bar and restaurant, where definitive fare has a decidedly Vermont twist. A comfortable, casual space that brings the outdoors in, and the indoors out. The Roost is a place to meet up and hang out. Where you can grab a seat, a bite, and a game at our Shuffleboard Dining Bar, or gather in our patio living room - under a pergola, near a fire pit, bocce court, and a reflecting pool. Or, lounge on oversized couches while you sample one of our Chef's nibbles, the perfect plates to go with a craft draft beer or creative cocktail. Food served until 10:00 PM.

We stopped in to the bar after a day at the Topnotch spa. Excellent service, great atmosphere (loved the shuffleboard table) and a good pour on the wine! You could spend an afternoon in this casual yet "upscale" feel bar. We didn't try the food, but everything that went by looked delicious. Another time. We'll be back.

I like the taste plate choices. You could eat here several times and never have the same thing.

Fresh food, done well.

It looks like a fun place and it is a fun place, we stayed at Topnotch and it felt like Roost was its living room. Loved sitting on the sofa and grabbing snacks. Kids loved milk and slice of chocolate cake while my parents and I would have cappuccino with great views of the mountain...Caithrin ( I believe was her name) was wonderful, friendly and her smile brightened the place!

Went to the Roost with a group of colleagues, initially just for a drink and something to nosh on. They have an interesting array of things to sample with a drink - we had the deviled eggs, spring roll and a sampler of 3 meats and two cheeses. Each was very good. Our server was very helpful in explaining the approximate size of each portion, so we knew how much to order. It is a lovely space with modern décor and great views to the outside. We decided to stay for dinner and the dinner menu, while limited, provided enough choices for everyone. I had a the quail with cheesy grits and bok choy and it was perfectly prepared. It's not over the top, but not cheap either, but for what they provide, it was a fair value.
