We wanted to do the tour that included the Ben and Jerry's, but our schedule didn't allow it. Instead, we did the Lamoille River tour. We used tandem kayaks to share with our sons (12 and 15). The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and amicable. They took us upstream and released us for the 4 mile kayaking trip. The views were phenomenal and so peaceful. Highly recommend it.

There isn't much more to be said. The service is good, the staff knowledgeable. They helped my daughter pick-out a set of very good snowshoes. She is quite happy. This is the store that locals recommend, and for very good reason. We go here every year for something.

Small store. Prices were not that inviting and the selection of gear was not as expected. Good thing is that you can book for all mayor outdoors activities in the area! dog sledding, snowmobile and skiing tours!

We were told the only tour available on the Sunday afternoon before Labor Day was the ice cream tour. They sold this as two hours of kayaking and then they said they took us for maple ice cream and a tour of a sugar house. The ice cream tour was an additional $10. The kayaking turned out to be only about an hour even with a slow current. The ice cream "tour" turned out to be that we drove ourselves and got $5 worth of ice cream and syrup sample for $10. And to add insult to injury, once we were there and had already paid we found out the ice cream part was optional. So save yourself some money and do just the kayaking but don't believe them when they tell you it's 2 hours.
