“Fantastic stay”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

Me and my wife visited for our anniversary for 3 nights. The food is fantastic and in the fall the view is great. I can only imagine what it's like during the winter. The inn is just 10 mins away from sugarbush and mad river glen. If your coming in the winter I would suggest coming up the sugarbush access road side of golf course road due to the steep hill on the other side of golf course road. Other then that I don't have enough space to write how much we enjoyed our experience. We plan on coming back and can't wait for our next visit.

Room Tip: The Isabella room is small but has a great view and a very nice bathroom. So don't let the size...

I spent 3 nights in the Isabella room. I awoke each morning to the leaves changing colors, the morning mist over the pond, deer grazing nearby. It is quite the bucolic setting. Breakfasts were scrumptious and varied. My room was clean and bed comfy. Kim was a great source for restaurant recommendations and advice on site seeing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning one day.

My wife and her running partner decided to run a marathon in Vermont. This was our first visit to the Green State and at Beaver Pond Farm Bed and Breakfast, Innkeepers Kim and Bob helped made our stay a memorable one. Our fist ever stay at a B&B, it was great. Kim and Bob are very personable and make you feel like your staying with family. The room was super comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the big deck overlooking the grounds with a view of the mountains. The morning breakfast was yummy and more than enough for any hungry traveler. Kim can sure cook and an excellent baker. You have to sample the home made scones, and you may even get the secret recipe. Beaver Pond Farm is a must stay if you're in the vacinity of Sugerbush ski area.

We just returned from a wonderful two day stay and thoroughly enjoyed it! Kim is a great host, very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Her breakfast is fabulous: loved the baked pancake with fresh berries and marscapone cheese, the best scones I've eaten anywhere, and a relaxed and very comfortable atmosphere and wonderful bed and a very clean room! We are so glad we chose this Inn and would recommend it to anyone who loves the charm of an old country farmhouse with all the modern conveniences!

After a 7 hour ride in the pelting rain we arrived at our destination in Sugarbush, the Beaver Pond Farm Inn located in Warren Vermont. Weary from the long drive, we enjoyed a warm welcome from the innkeeper, Kim and her dog Hannah as we walked in the door. Immediately, we felt right at home in the relaxed, casual atmosphere of the inn. Our room was spotless, nicely furnished and the bed cozy and comfortable. I’ll admit that it was tough to stay in bed with the aroma of coffee and freshly baked lemon scones scenting the air. Kim served us a wonderful hot breakfast every morning which was hearty enough to keep our hunger at bay while we skied at Sugarbush just 5 minutes away. The Beaver Pond Farm Inn is very convenient for skiers as it is very near the access road to the mountain but far enough away that you are able to enjoy the solitude that Vermont living brings. Après ski found us with a steaming mug or a glass of wine, curled up in comfy chairs watching the sun disappear behind the mountains – the most beautiful view from the living room of the inn. We will most definitely stay here again

We decided last minute to head up to VT for the weekend and we started to look for a place to stay on line. I noticed that the Inn had availability for the one night that we were looking for - Saturday and I called right away. I found out that someone had just cancelled and it could not have been more perfect and just what we needed for the weekend - to get away for the night and ski.

After a long day, getting up early to drive up to ski for the day we arrived at the Bed & Breakfast after a full day on the slopes. We were greeted by Kim and her dog Hanna and she could not have been more welcoming. To start off the location was perfect, so close to the mountain. Kim showed us around the Inn and we were able to make ourselves comfortable and feel at home. There is a hot tub outside and after a long day of skiing it was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the wonderful views and the added snow coming down was perfect.

Inside the Inn there is also so much to do - Kim has a wonderful fire going in the living room where you can sit and relax, read a book, magazines that she has out or play one of the many games. There is also a self-service bar where you can help yourself to a glass of wine, beer or a nice cup of tea/cocoa. It is a great way to either start or and an evening. Oh, and I can not forget to mention her wonderful homemade cookies that she has available for her guests.

Kim is up early getting ready for the day and her guest for breakfast. I love breakfast and also a good breakfast to start the day off when you are going to be skiing all day. It was AMAZING!!!! and it kept my husband and I going for the entire day - we were on the mountain for 5 hours and did not stop until we were done and ready to head back home from our night away.

I was so sad that it was for only one night after an amazing weekend that we had. I can not say enough about the place and the hospitality of Kim. Thank you so much for everything and we are looking forward to coming back and staying with you again.

Room Tip: All rooms are great!

My husband and I were absolutely pampered for five days at this wonderful B&B. Our gracious hosts, Kim and Bob, were immensely amiable, welcoming and thoughtful. Their Inn is brimming with quintessential Vermont charm and hospitality: decorated with beautifully chosen antiques, cozy with a crackling maple wood fire in the hearth, and furnished with the most incredibly comfortable bedding in our room, the Babcock. Even the small touches such as chocolates on our pillows and a towel warmer in the bathroom were delightful! We loved relaxing in the living room after a day spent outdoors, nestled by the fire with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and Kim's delectable home baked treats! We truly appreciated Kim's recommendations for good local restaurants and thus enjoyed wonderful dinners every night. For breakfast, Kim's talents and inventiveness were unsurpassed: Delicious new scones daily, lovely grilled grapefruit with ginger, luscious au gratin eggs baked with fresh spinach and bacon, light as air waffles with fresh berries, flavorful local sausages and artisan breads, savory grilled ham and cheddar paninis, warm apple crisp, and of course always perfectly brewed coffee! This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever enjoyed, offering majestic mountain scenery, an ideal location for outdoor adventures and sight-seeing, superb lodgings, first-rate hospitality and total Vermont fun and relaxation!
