I have never been more disappointed. The place was filthy, small and I would say just a tad above camping. The hot tub was green and smelled awful and the swimming pool wasn't mouch better. There is no manager on duty. It was so bad we ended up leaving after 2 days.
I have been a member of RCI for fifteen yrs and this is the first time I have ever been disappointed with an exchange until now. RCI needs to take this resort out of there exchange program

This condo building provides a quiet retreat, yet is situated centrally to all of the activities you'd want to enjoy in Vermont. We visited Queechee Gorge, Montpelier, Stowe, and Burlington during our week's stay. The inn's outdoor pool was not in working order, but we didn't have time for it, anyway. The hot tub was functioning, but we were too busy to use it, too. The kitchenette was functional. We had a 1 bedroom and enjoyed the balcony toward the river. We couldn't see the river, but could hear it. Morning coffee was great; DVD's were handy during a rainy day. Kate, the manager, is friendly and very capable.

Room Tip: We enjoyed our room that was on the back of the building.

Kate, the Innkeeper, was great! The rooms were clean and had all your basic amenities. The living room/ common space area was cozy and perfect for hanging out by the fire. Tons of DVDs to borrow. One of our DVD players didn't work but that was no big deal. Kate makes coffee and tea each morning. Just a few minutes from Sugarbush. Great place to stay!!!

The name "Seasons Resort" is extremely misleading. It is more of a glorified motel.
Positives: clean, relatively close to Sugarbush, inexpensive
Negatives: tiny bathroom (i.e. I have to close the door to use the sink), poorly equipped kitchen (no garbage disposal or even drain plug), doors don't close well, extremely outdated decor (ceiling light is a fixture hanging by a wire), uncomfortable bed, loud refrigerator, an actual metal key, hot tub with not enough water (not to mention, so much bleach that my eyes were stinging), front rooms have boring view of Vermont 100, internet/cell phone service is extremely slow/unavailable
I don't really understand how other reviewers can get the "warm, quaint, cozy, Vermont feel" from this "Resort" when it is so outdated and lacking any decor whatsoever.

Room Tip: NOT the front

My sister and I stayed at Seasons Resort this past week. The room we had was a small efficiency. We had a kitchenette with a stove, small fridge, and a 4-seat dining room table. There was a pull out couch in the living room and a double in the bedroom. We also had a private porch looking out to the mountains, accessible from the living room.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. I do have some positive and negative points to make in this review.

Positive: The living quarters were clean and well-kept. The innkeeper, Kate, was very nice. The common space was an inviting atmosphere; we spent every night out in the common space reading books by the fire (which we maintained ourselves unless the innkeeper was around) and talking to other guests. There was plenty to do on site - board games, bookshelves with fairly mainstream titles, a dvd collection of decent movies (FYI - no G rated movies), a nice sized gym, big screen TV, and a beautiful stream out back. The place also has a heated jacuzzi and heated swimming pool but those amenities were closed for the winter. The location is excellent for sightseeing. We were 30 minutes from Stowe and Waterbury, which was great. The innkeeper was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and made recommendations for food, which was helpful since the restaurant hours are a little wonky up here (i.e. The Pitcher Inn restaurant that showed up on our GPS was only open from 6-9pm and closed on Tuesdays).

Negative: There was no indication for how the check in process would work (our paperwork said check in was only from 4-5pm) and our phone call went unanswered (in part due to poor reception/innkeeper was suffering from the flu) so we rushed up to check in during the 1 hour window only to find out that the check in process is self-serve - pick up your key left in an envelop at the front desk. Knowing that in advance would have left us more leisure time during the drive up and less stress, too! Upon checking in, we could see that our room, although clean, was a little dated. The room was also quite cold for us most of the time - luckily there was a portable heater in the closet. We spent the majority of the time under blankets in the room to stay warm (in their defense, the temperature was in the negatives at night during our stay). My sister was unhappy about the security on the door (no deadbolt or chain) - not that we were expecting trouble, but more for the comfort of it as a norm. We could also hear a dog barking in the building although the rules state that no pets are allowed (this could be an issue if you are highly allergic to pet dander). There is coffee/tea available in the early morning hours - my sister and I both thought the tea tasted funny so after the first day, we just used the hot water and our own tea bags (we don't drink coffee, but it was the standard pot of black coffee available from what I could tell - a Keurig would be a nice addition here). Finally, our view out the windows/from the patio, though pleasant, left nothing to be desired. I knew of the stream out back, but couldn't see it from my window - instead I had a view of a house located behind the resort, which was a little disappointing.

So in summary, the place is cozy, well located, and fits the bill for the average traveler. The innkeeper, Kate, can help answer a lot of your questions -- and if she doesn't know, she will cheerfully help you locate the information you need to go about your day. A little better communication before arrival and a little updating of the decor would go a long way to making this an outstanding facility. Keep up the good work!

I have stayed at the Seasons at least a dozen times over the last year... its a clean, warm and inviting resort in the heart of Vermont. The units are clean and efficient, especially if you like to cook while on vacation. Hanging out in the lounge by the fire or doing a puzzle with fellow guests is always a highlight of my visits. The property manager Kate is extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Looking forward to my next visit to the Seasons!

My family have been coming to the Seasons for over 5 years and we love everything about this little resort. It's not a luxury resort like those in Florida but it's clean, cozy and friendly that's perfect for a Vermont ski vacation. The location is perfect for skiing because it's less than 10 mins away from Sugarbush. The property manager Kate is friendly and helpful and she will make sure you have a good time staying at the Seasons. The one bedroom unit is perfect for our family of three. There's a pullout sofa bed in the living room, a full size bathroom and a well stocked kitchen with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you but we love it here because it's comfortable and it's our home away from home.
