“No more lunch!”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

Juniper's Fare had arguably the best burger in Vermont. The food is always good, well prepared and made with excellent ingredients. The service is warm and friendly. The baked goods are excellent, the mango iced tea is wonderful, and it's a good place for breakfast, too.
Sadly - Juniper's Fare no longer serves lunch! This is such a sad thing for this town....

“What a find!”
Reviewed 29 January 2013

Don't let the outside appearance fool you. Once you step through the doors, you are embarking on nothing short of an amazing experience. The warm ambience, the exceptional photos from a local photographer, the warm welcoming smiles and the enticing aromas wafting out of the kitchen, are all just the beginning. Chances are Brenda will greet you enthusiastically and warmly, suggesting the most delicious of specials of the day. Chef Martin in the kitchen works his magic with gusto and flair and before you know it....you are in culinary heaven. The 5 oz burgers (my favorite is the bacon blue) cooked just the way you like it, along with a generous portion of hand cut fries, a large mango iced tea and home baked dessert...well..I want another NOW. Reasonable prices, friendly folk and amazing food. You won't be disappointed.

“Good food but prices have gone up”
Reviewed 14 October 2012

I used to be a weekly visitor, but have not been there in over a year. While I am sure that the food remains very good, I feel that they have become too expensive for their Friday Take out meals. It used to be place where I knew I could stop in every Friday night, get a good meal at a great price and know that I was supporting the mission of the owners. Just feel that they have increased prices so much that many are no longer stopping on a regular basis.

“Local spot with great food & service”
Reviewed 5 October 2012

What a cute local restaurant, diner style! When we asked in town where we could great food with a healthy twist, Juniper's was recommended and we weren't disappointed. The service was personable and excellent. Dishes to choose were suggested and customized to our taste and needs - yes, try both soups together! Especially if one is their tomato soup! "What doesn't mix with tomato soup?!"
Mango curry chicken salad - yum, and a good mix of more eclectic with traditional fare. Check their hours for best choices. We went between lunch and dinner and only a few choices weren't available, though.
