We were in town for a conference, and surprised to find that it was "mud season" (so many of the surrounding restaurants were closed). But, West Dover Joe's was a recommendation by the front desk person at the resort, and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was great--large portions, nice mixture of items to choose from. Also, great ambience--somewhat rustic, but very well-maintained and comfortable. There was also a music area for bands. Definitely recommend.

Located on the main road a very short distance from Mr Snow and the Great Summit Inns in West Dover West Dover Joe's was the perfect place for dinner the first evening in the area. Atmosphere was local VT and service was as pleasant as could be desired. Started with the salad of Ahi Tuna salad greens, a large salad and a very nice piece of tuna, could be a meal in itself or easily shared by two. The wife ordered the crusted fresh local Salmon with risotto and veggies, all freshly prepared and tasty generous portions. I ordered from the Wednesday night pasta special menu offering a number of options at a very reasonable price. I chose eggplant parm, pasta, accompanied by a caesar salad and garlic bread. In both instances we had plenty of food and no room for dessert. West Dover Joe's is ranked among the best in the area and rightfully so.

As second homeowners in the area we always favorite a night at Joe's. The worst part of every visit is selecting only one meal each as they are all so good. Can't wait for our next visit. Ripton

This was a comfort food dinner for us after a long day of skiing at Mount Snow. The dining room was comfy and cozy with tasteful New England decor. We enjoyed the gnocchi, mountain of meatloaf, and apple stuffed chicken. The meatloaf was the star, loaded with fresh herbs and topped with delicious brown gravy. The mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The chef brought our food out which was a nice touch. Our server was friendly and attentive. This was a great place for comfort food, home cooking that is filling and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed Joe's.

Party of 9. Small restaurant with large parking lot.
Everybody was happy with their meals. I had the pot roast/brisket which was moist and tasty, stew-like.
Kid friendly with a nice bar area.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
