We took a motorcycle trip up to the Gray Ghost Inn at the end of September with some friends. We booked our rooms in August and confirmations and changes we had to make were done with ease by Carina.
We arrived early evening on Friday, checked in, received a tour of the place and headed across the road to dinner after have BYOB cocktails in the lounge.
Saturday's breakfast was awesome and included looking over the notebook of mapped out motorcycle rides to go on. We chose Quechee Gorge and headed out with plans to be back for dinner at the Inn.
Saturday's night dinner, hosted by The Food Biker, was unbelievably cooked by the Inn staff and served by Carina and 2 of her adorable daughters. We were so full when we were done!
Sunday was another great breakfast and we left with promises to ourselves to head to the inn during the summer next year.
The Rooms! were simple and comfortable. We had a double bed, and a comfortable bathroom with a stand up shower. The door locks are punch in the button for the coresponding number and turn the knob so no keys or cards involved (took us dummies a while to figure it out!). We were on the main room side and didn't hear anything all night - no above us or next to us guests as well.
A really enjoyable time.More
