We had found it perplexing to find a good restaurant in West Dover... The Deerhill inn has now filled this gap. The fresh food is well prepared in contrast to many other eateries which just warm up previously prepared mediocre dishes.
My wife started with tasty wild boar sausage and I had a delicious mushroom soup where cream was replaced by melted brie, an succulent nectar. We followed by very well prepared quails and the chef managed to keep them juicy. However, the dessert failed to impress but we still left with a very good impression and we will be back soon.
