This was our first visit to Abbott's Glen we hope to make many more .
All the reviews we have looked at say it all we would like to add our 2 cents
this place is just the best from the time you enter the driveway till the time you exit
you will be treated with all the respect one could ask for the staff and the people who stay
here are just some of the best people on earth.
The place is very clean , The staff can't do enough for you they treat you like family
and when it comes to meal time what comes from the kitchen is just out of this world
the best advice we can give to anyone is to not miss a meal.
When the sun sets the entertainment starts Friday is bon fire time Saturday is dance party at the sugar shack .
Over all this was one of the best places on earth to spend a weekend.

This place gets a rock solid “A+”. Upon entering the immaculate grounds it is obvious that the owners and their staff care about you. The place is spotless. Ahh, peace for the mind. They serve absolutely gourmet level home cooked meals. Ahh, peace for the body. They add a massive bonfire on Friday nights, the occasional band, and many theme nights. FUN! There are many acres to wander; fields and paths are always mowed. Wildflowers and gardens abound. There are places to sit under the shade, across from the swimming pond, down by the river, walk in the woods trails, camp under the stars or enjoy a suite filled with antiques. The owners will either engage if you want to talk or let you enjoy some solitude. They are professionals, having improved the property and the experience for the last 10 years. It shows.
This place attracts excellent people, but you can tell the experience makes good people even better. I think the clients and how they treat each other make the place. People are outgoing and very friendly, with great dinner conversation almost guaranteed. But they are equally private and able to let you have your space. I find the owners protect this in every regard.
Lindy is always working to entertain with music on Saturday night because he wants you to enjoy yourself. He works in so many ways to maintain the structures, grow the business, keep the bonfire stoked, etc. Amy is always working to prepare meals because she knows this is so important. It is, but no less than her keeping a close eye on everything, directing a lot of the staff, attending to the details, etc. I have a sneaking suspicion that she is the reason the place is so clean! Liz is always working to follow the owners in so many ways, but has her own brand of providing first class service and a warm smile. I hope they never lose her!
This is only my second visit here. I come to heal, that is to recover from a high profile career. You could not be in better hands. Give this place a try. All of these reviews are remarkably consistent and all from once newcomers.

My wife and I visited Abbott's Glen on 7/12 and camped overnight. I believe this is our third trip there. The grounds are in fantastic shape and the hosts are two of the most pleasant folks you will ever meet. If you are new to naturism, as we were on our first visit, I would recommend The Glen for your first experience. The hosts, and their guests, will make your visit very relaxing and enjoyable. For you campers, please note that you have full use of their ceramic tiled showers (both indoor and outdoor) his and her restrooms, hot tub, sauna and Sugar Shack. This is "gourmet camping" with very reasonable fees. Give it a try, you will not be dissapointed.

I have been going to "The Glen" for a couple of years and last year I brought my girlfriend for the first time. She absolutely loved the Glen. The friends she met made her feel real comfortable and relaxed. This year we went back twice. We spent the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. Lindy, Amy and Lize go out of their way to make everyone feel at home and comfortable. The dinners are Five Star and by far the best that I have experienced anywhere. There is no paper or plastic here! Tables are exquisitely set with clean, crisp and pressed linens, and always great conversation. Whether you are at a campsite tenting or staying in the one of the rooms everyone is like family. There are acres with trails to explore on your own in the nude, including a nice sandy beach by a gurgling river or a place to quietly relax by the pond naturally. The landscaping is something to be admired. There are beautifully appointed flower and vegetable gardens. An orchard with a well groomed lawn with a place to shoot a round of golf clothing optional. For any first timers to experience the naturist life style this is an excellent place to go.
The Inn is composed of 3 separate structures, each unique, offering first class accommodation and Abbott's Glen robes. Get energized with an outdoor shower under the warm sun, (there is nothing like taking a shower outdoors). Or take a dip in the hot tub to soothe your soul. They also have a wood-fired Finnish sauna, and massage services that allows for the ultimate in naturist relaxation. Another great gathering place for everyone is at the Club Sugar Shack in the Carriage House for dancing a game of pool, or just sitting around and enjoy the company of others naturally for a good conversation. Don't look any further for your place under the sun, I have found it here!

Our first trip to Abbots was on our first Anniversary, and we've been back every one since, and a few in between. When we go we feel like we're returning to visit friends and family, Because Amy, Lindy, and Liz treat us as if we are.
The atmosphere is quintessential Vermont. With Acres to explore on your own, down on the sandy beach by the river, or relaxing by the pond sunny side up, with beautiful gardens and landscaping to admire on your way over for a short round of nude golf.
The food is AMAZING, and prepared by chef Amy with great care and attention to the smallest of details. Dining is relaxed and never rushed, you truly have the opportunity to meet, talk with, and make new and lasting friends.
And there is nothing like after dinner dancing in the "Sugar Shack"! Where every night is a unique experience.
We've stayed in the very comfortable rooms and the campground, both are clean and well kept....although we do prefer the campground, out under the great Vermont skies:-)
We've been Summer, Fall, and Winter with each season offering its own special and unique feel. From Pumpkin carving in front of a roaring fire in October to Nude Snowshoeing through the crisp Vermont snow followed up by a visit to the wood fired sauna in March, and of course a big Bon fire under the stars in the Summer.
Amy and Lindy have nailed it, and it's not to be missed. We spend our time in between visits dreaming of getting back to our little bit of heaven!

We only stayed one night in our pop-up camper but everything was great! Campsites are nice (no hook-ups), everybody was friendly and the facilities are very clean. Very relaxing and we hated to leave; hopefully we can go back soon.

We only stayed one night, but it was enjoyable. We relaxed by the pond, walked through the woods to the river/beach and had the most fun golf game ever. The management and guests were friendly, the rooms were nice and the food great. We hope to return for a longer visit.
