We just returned from our stay at the Inn @ Weston today and I am writing right away so that the innkeepers and future potential guests know what an excellent place the inn is.
The Inn at Weston is one of the most charming bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed at. The country decor was simply adorable, and full of warmth. The "library" was well stocked with all sorts of books and magazines. The entry way to the inn was always stocked first thing in the morning with fresh coffee and in the afternoon, there was always tea and some type of small pastry item.
The innkeepers Bob and Linda welcomed us with ease upon our arrival. They made us feel right at home. Linda took no time at all showing us around and taking us to our room. Both Bob and Linda really know how to make their guests feel welcome without being too overbearing. They are great hosts and I think that they are very in tune with their guests' needs. When we needed directions, they were so helpful.
We also had dinner our first night at the inn's restaurant. The duck and risotto dish was one of the best Ive had. The waitstaff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The desserts were so good we ordered two - profiteroles and the creme brulee. The creme brulee was DELICIOUS. DELICIOUS.
On our second night there, we wanted to try dinner somewhere else nearby and Linda was so kind to make reservations for us.
Our room was so cozy and clean. I loved the bathroom. The bath tub was so nice and the tiles were an elegant blue color.
I have driven through vermont before, but this was my first stay in the state. I would return in no time and of course I would stay at the Inn @ weston. I highly recommend this inn and whatever you do, you must have dinner at the restaurant on one of the nights.
Also, the breakfasts were cooked by Linda and completely delicious. No cheesy continental fare here! The breakfasts are on par with any restaurant that serves breakfast.
Thank you again, Bob and Linda for a truly wonderful and accomodating stay. You have friends in New Jersey :0)
