“Great afternoon at Bryce Zipline”

Bryce Resort Zipline Adventure
Reviewed 26 June 2013

We've enjoyed the Bryce Resort Zipline Adventure several times, since it was first built. They've added more stations, and now with the high speed lift, it's really improved. The guides are helpful and fun and it's a great way to spend a few hours on the mountain. Check out the new mountain bike trails while you're there!

There is not a lot going on at Bryce Resort in the summer months other than golf and mountain biking, but when we were looking for another diversion on day three of a vacation that inclulded the Luray Caverns (5 stars) and Skyline Drive (5 stars), the Bryce zipline fit the bill.

For $45 per person (a relative bargain) you are whisked to the top of the ski mountain by a brand new chairlift and sent down a series of ten lines over the course of about 90 minutes. My 10-year old (barely the 70 lb minimum) was just as capable of handling the zipline as the teens on the trip. Our 13-year old daughter had a great time as did my husband and I.

The guides are first rate, as are the views of the mountains. We've had more impressive vistas in Panama, but for a stateside attraction I don't think you can beat the value and fun for the money.

We also paid $25 for each of our kids for 90 minutes of tubing down a hill on a wet track, bungie/trampoline jumping and "rock wall" climbing.

All in all a fun way to spend the day outside.

One of the best attractions in VA. Was nervous at first but turned out to be just plain FUN! We come to Bryce Mountain every year and will certainly make the ZIP LINE an annual event.

Great fun! The guides were fantastic. A TON of FUN!!!! Ages above ten would probably be best. Safe, instructions are clear and detailed. The guides will answer any questions. Just sit back and let it rip.
