Description: With pinkies out or in, you are sure to delight in the experience of our lavish Manor House Teas. You will relax in the elegant setting of our historic manor enjoying the company of friends and loved ones with a comforting cup of tea. Our teas are blended especially for Historic Rosemont Manor by Marsha G. Richards of Tea for All Reasons in Winchester, Virginia. Teas include our enchanting Byrd Blend black tea – a signature blend of Darjeeling, cream Earl Grey, rose petals and other natural flavors – and the refreshing Rosemont Blend green tea – a combination of Sencha, strawberry and papaya pieces, rose petals, candy pearl dragees and other natural flavors. Rosemont chefs carefully plan a three-course menu, preparing sandwiches, scones and sweet treats that will complement each of the teas we serve.

I loved spending the afternoon in the Virginia countryside at beautiful Rosemont Manor. Set in the Shenandoah Valley with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this historic Manor home has been host to numerous presidents and movie stars. But today, it was a reunion with friends. The owner, Biff Genda, recreated the history of this amazing manor home before we enjoyed an elegant tea (my second time there and I'm even more impressed than the first!). Chef Tona gave us a personal touch by explaining her techniques. She uses local produce and herbs to create delectable tea sandwiches, scones, and sweets that are out of the ordinary and delicious. I loved the duo of sweet and savory scones and the mint ice cream! All three of the specially blended teas from “Tea for All Reasons” were delightful and full of flavor. I look forward to going back and seeing what surprises await at tea! And hope to one day spend a weekend in the Manor Home in one of the Presidents’ rooms enjoying breakfast there!

The tour starts with a fun, fizzy drink in the carriage house. The owner gave a talk about the fascinating history of the house and took us on a tour of the property. The front veranda and views are amazing.

The tea was absolutely perfect. There were 3 courses with 3 delicious blends of tea. I had requested a vegan menu, and their chef did provided inventive and creative twists on the normal tea menu. It was absolutely delicious. The chef and staff definitely care about what they do.

A group of us went to the Rosemont Manor for the Manor House Tea service. It was excellent. The food was delicious. The teas are some of the best I've had. The tour of the property was very nice and was of an appropriate length. It is apparent that there is a lot of care that goes into this service.

A group of six of us decided to have tea at this large, beautiful manor that dates back to the Civil War. There are some historic mansions that, while fascinating in their architecture, lack the warmth and charm of yesteryear. Not so at Rosemont Manor. From the moment you enter this lovingly restored home, you can feel the happiness that permeates this timeless place. Since we enjoyed the tea service only, I cannot speak to Rosemont's offerings as an Inn. What I can tell you is that the professional chef who crafts the delicious tea sandwiches, savories and treats is superb!! The table settings were lovely, the selected teas were unusually delicious, and the ambiance was delightful. After tea we were allowed to roam the various rooms and floors of this beautiful place. Looking out onto the gently rolling lawn, one could almost see the horses pulling up with their honored guests. In more recent times, famous folks such as Albert Einstein and Richard Nixon have spent time at the Inn. Light floods the expansive home which was clearly designed for entertainment and enjoyment. Rosemont is located in the town of Berryville, about an hour and a half drive from D.C. I am very much looking forward to returning to Rosemont in the Spring to see the gorgeous azaleas, and again in the Fall to see the panorama of autumn colors. Whether you're a local or visiting the D.C. area, consider treating yourself to a delicious tea and perhaps even a stay at this warm and inviting Inn. Between the satisfying food from the kitchen and the welcoming feel of Rosemont, it will be a memorable time well spent.

This summer I took my mother and 2 daughter-in-laws to Rosemont for a Sunday Tea and Tour. What a delightful treat!
We enjoyed learning about the history of this plantation property! The grounds are spectacular and the 3 teas and 3 courses (savory, scone, and sweet) were each delicious! I particularly appreciated the chef's accommodating our gluten-free needs!
After tea, we viewed a sampling of the available rooms and found them beautifully and tastefully decorated.
We all thoroughly enjoyed Rosemont and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away for an afternoon or an overnight stay.
