The sand is soft like talcum powder. The beach is narrow but spans quite a distance in length. The water is never very deep, perfect for those who just want to dabble in the sea. We had such a great time! The sunsets are gorgeous, a must see! This a a small, friendly town tucked away on the Eastern shore of Virginia. Once a bustling ferry town. Now an after thought on the way up and down Rt. 13. We ate at Kelly's Pub, one of two restaurants there in town. The food was very good, and the she crab soup was wonderful! We will definitely go back to this winsome town again.
