“Fabulous Museum”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

This museum is amazing. I absolutely loved the static displays. This museum has a lot of substance as opposed to many museums that have data that you could receive somewhere else. I would highly recommend it. One thing I found fascinating was the structure of the MIGs that they have. Those early planes look like they were riveted together aluminum. I've never seen anything quite like it.

The space portion is also fabulous. I loved seeing the shuttle and its presentation.

“Fantastic place”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Unbelievable range of all things aeronautical and astronautical. From the space shuttle "Discovery" to many of the earlier space vehicles. From the early beginning of flight to fighter planes only just out of service. Solid and liquid fuelled rockets, many missiles, jet engines exposed to view. Even a Concord. There is an interactive display of a space shuttles cabin. The total display is huge and very well laid out, allow plenty of time, there is so much to see. There is a.$ 5.00 parking fee per car but no entrance fee for the display.

“What an awesome place!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Planes are not my favorite thing, but this place is AWESOME!! There is so much to see dating back to the Wright Brothers and going forward to the Space Shuttle Discovery. The Concorde, the Stealth, and don't miss the Close Encounters Mother Ship. This is a DO NOT MISS!!! Bring the kids, bring the grandparents. Don't miss going up to the tower either. It is free but parking is $15.00.

“Great!”
Reviewed 12 May 2014 via mobile

Everything that's missing from the museum on the mall is in this much larger facility - the Discovery shuttle, a Concorde, and the Enola Gay, among others! Also very much enjoyed the IMAX offerings, great deal for only $5 each! We didn't take the guided tour, but will definitely do so when we return - having overheard parts of it, it sounded interesting, but maybe not for the impatient 6-year-old we were with!

“If you like airplanes you will love this place”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

This is the greatest aviation museum on the planet. They have everything from the Space Shuttle to a P-51. The place is clean and very well laid out. It is a lot of walking but well worth it.
