Yes, it does get busy and, no, they don't take reservations. So we generally have a late breakfast and head to Duner's for an early dinner when they open at 5 PM. That way we also get to sit in the smaller, quieter room, where it's easier to carry on a conversation in a normal voice. We're gradually working our way through the menu (it doesn't change all that much day-to-day), and have always been happy with the food. I had pan-fried, soft-shell crab over rice most recently. The sweet meat and complex sauce, coupled with the crunchiness of the crab shell, made for a perfect combination.
Don't feel like you have to have one of the entrees. A couple of appetizers plus dessert will keep you happy, and is not that unusual an order at Duner's. The wait and bus staff are attentive without hovering, so you'll get to eat your meal in peace. For all these reasons, Duner's has become a favorite of ours.
