What a find. I really liked it here. Yes it is an older property but it is a great deal for the money. Clean, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast is not just oj and danish it is a real breakfast buffet.

We have stayed here over the last 7-8 years several times, having 2 kids at UVA. Great value, wonderful king suites, reasonably priced, quiet and ample breakfast, attentive staff.

We felt that this hotel was a true "find". The room was lovely, the pool area was great, hotel itself was very clean, and the staff was very professional and kind. We had a King suite, which we loved!
And the price was very reasonable....we got a suite, for the price of a regular room at a chain hotel.
We were traveling with our 2 children, and they slept on the pull out sofa, which they said was very comfortable...and of course, they raved about having their own TV , as there were 2 in the suite.
The complimentary breakfast was above and beyond! There was everything from eggs and sausage, to cereal and bagels, complete with all kinds of juices, and several roasts of coffees. It was a buffet!
Much more than we expected. We wanted to stay another night, just to enjoy it more!

Great location as a base of operations for seeing the sights of the area. Very comfortable room. Staff very helpful. Enjoyed the hot breakfast, including eggs, pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit. Close to a big shopping mall and plenty of restaurants.

My husband and I stayed one June night after a visit to Monticello. The staff was wonderful; we got a call from the front desk shortly after we checked in just to confirm that we had everything we needed in our room. We assured them everything was fine and it was. The room and bath were spacious, immaculate and in perfect condition. We took advantage of both the complimentary tea and cookies offered in the afternoon as well as the full buffet breakfast in the AM. Both offerings were well prepared and generous.

After we left, we both agreed that we would definitely stay there again if we were in that area.

Nice motel, nothing fancy. Just a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay for 2 nights in Charlottesville. Most other motels in this town were way out of our price range. The hot breakfast was a big plus as this saved us a lot of money. Great baked apples! Staff was pleasant. We had a fridge in our king room and the local grocery store and restaurants were very close. The motel was tucked behind a business complex so it was a little hard to find, but that was a minor detail. Would stay there again. Close to Monticello and Ashlawn.

A well-located lodging with charm and character. Inviting lobby, spacious King Suite room for under $100. Free breakfast buffet.

Dining: we recommend "Wild Greens" which is only a few blocks away.
