“Classy crepes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2013

The only reason this place didn't score an "excellent" review for me was the lack of seating, utensils, and general preoccupation of the staff.

Upsides: quality ingredients, appetizing options, and absolutely delicious food! Melty, piping hot cheese, non-deli meats, and fresh veggies. The mint limeade was refreshing and not too sweet. YAY for accommodating special dietary needs!

The downsides.... When we lined up, the 2 staffers continued talking nonchalantly with each other for several minutes before acknowledging the customers. That first impression made us feel a little uncertain about proceeding. But despite the slightly inhospitable service, glad we stayed. Also, only 2 couples can eat there. (literally, there are 4 seats). I realize that's part of the charm, and why they refer to this as a "window" and not a restaurant. But don't expect a table! The crepes are super messy and there aren't plates or silverware. So you might end up wearing any combination of grease, cheese, or chocolate sauce. Beware. BYO apron, cutlery, and picnic supplies. But definitely stop by. WORTH IT!

“Great Crepes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2012

This is literally a hole in the wall that serves great crepes, savory and sweet. Lots of fillings to choose from. It is so small you miss it if you are not careful. It is carry out. There are a few seats outside of the place if you are lucky to get one.

“Excellent and reasonable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 November 2012

This little window and tiny patio tucked on Water St. next to Live Arts reveals a creperie with lots of good options. The size is perfect for a meal and very generous. We have had lots of different combos and sweet or savory are equally good. Love the apple/brie or sausage. Price averages $7 per person.

“A hidden gem!”

Their savory crepes are just as good as their desert ones.
I would recommend the strawberry and nuttella crepe, it's to die for!

“Nice try, but too slow.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2012 via mobile

If you expect a Parisian style street crepe stand, forget it. The crepes here are yummy and mega-american sized, but the wait is not for those who hope to keep their stroll moving. Sort of like the US-version of Italian espresso bars -- vastly larger servings, but equally massively delayed in a country that doesn't expect quality as a matter of course.
