We ate here twice during our recent visit to UVA and I honestly love that place. Of course Waffle House is a casual in-and-out place, and the food never disappoints. But the difference with this one is a server named Nikki. I think this woman has got to be the happiest person on Earth. She was smiling, singing through some tense moments (which happen a lot in a restaurant, and right in front of you at a WH), and just really made the guests and her coworkers lighten up. When we returned two days later, she remembered us and made us feel like we were family returning home for Sunday dinner. Nothing goes better with a sausage, egg, and cheese grit bowl than a warm helping of Southern hospitality. You're a keeper, Miss Nikki!
