My husband and I ate at Bellair Market on the recommendation of a friend and we were very pleased. I think it is more of a deli then restaurant but the food is very good. I recommend it for a nice sandwich or soup. There is also a variety of salads and fruits. Relax and enjoy! It is in an Exxon station.

Sandwiches are good and staff is friendly, but the atmosphere is not the best cafe experience. It's tight and not very conducive for conversations. Again, the food is tasty but don't plan on hanging out long or studying there.

Almost every sandwich on the board is a classic with some kind of special twist that makes it even better. Personal favorites are the Keswick (not that often you see country ham on a sandwich) and the Jefferson (gobble gobble). Step inside what looks like a gas station convenience store and be amazed and surprised by the good eats.

look, if a sandwich shop and exxon gas station combined excites you, come here.

we arrived in town the same day that UVA students stormed back to school... try not to do that. huge traffic jams but we read prior TA reviews and decide to fight our way to bellair exxon. the place was busy and i'm sure the crowd was held down by a horrendous rain storm, but big deal..gas and sandwiches. i mean the food was good but a prior reviewer praised the service, what service? it's a self-serve joint! must have been referring to herself as the server.

exxon seems to be doing this a lot in the charlottesville area and we found another exxon gas-sandwich shop near the clifton inn which was much newer and larger and better. i think nuff said about this place.
