We looked for a hotel with a suite that was handicapped accessible. This hotel provided that and was within 5 miles of the folks we were visiting. It was easy to navigate, had a separate bedroom, two baths--one full, one half. This made it perfect for having friends visit us. Breakfast is cooked to order and there is even evening food and beverage service. The price is a little high for leisure travel but the hotel is quite nice.

As good as it gets in town. This is a newer property in a pretty setting at a price which leaves you money to spend on the rest of your trip.

The restaurant serves a good breakfast and has dinner or service if you don't wish to venture out. The staff is friendly. The rooms in back overlook a scenic lake and I'd you squint, Monticello is on top of the next hill.

Only downside is I'm not a fan of Garden Inn's adjustable beds. There are other ways to set them apart from the competition than makings guess what number my sleep setting should be .

The hotel itself it excellent. The rooms are extremely comfortable and we had a great night's sleep, just what you would come to expect from a Hilton. It has a gym, pool, restaurant and free wifi. Breakfast was not included. The only downside is the location - it's towards the outer side of Charlottesville. You have to drive to get to the downtown area and to get to UVA campus.

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night during a visit to UVA. The hotel is located on the eastern side of Charlottesville and is only 10-15 min from UVA, which is nice.

I have stayed at many Hilton based hotels and this one was pretty standard. It did not really stand out in any way. One negative I noted was the high cost for breakfast in the hotel, whereas many Hilton properties include breakfast in the price of their stay. The only other negative was the price of the room, which exceeded $200. This price is considerably higher than what I am accustom to for most Hilton hotels not in the downtown of a major city.

The rooms were ok, but again nothing special. We did swim in the pool some and it was fine, although small (inside pool).

Overall, this hotel was ok if you need to stay in the area, but the lack of inclusion of breakfast and the higher costs would make me look elsewhere next time.

Everything abou this Hilton property was excellent. Our only complaint was about the pool. I am not sure if it was a bromine treated pool and I guess we are used to the chlorine treated pools and the chlorine smell and burn. This pool smelled a little like pond water. Kids weren't bothered by it but my husband and I prefer to know that the chlorine is in there. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was exemplary.

The hotel is well located to site seeing and downtown. The first night we visited the bar for a glass of wine and the bartender was friendly and efficient. We had breakfast the next morning and both food and staff were excellent. No begging for coffee refills, etc. the omelette were wonderful. Different bartender that night. (We have a drink upon return to hotel since we do not like to drink very much and drive). Pretty much ignored us. Next morning the food was still great but we had to practically beg for more coffee. The check arrived two minutes after being seated. Day one perfect. Day two, not so much.

This hotel is very nice. It's not the ritz, but it is a very clean, modern hotel that has nice rooms for anyone looking for a good value. Ask about a AAA or government employee (if eligible) discount because it can save you big! This hotel has a small pool and fitness center that aren't great, but it's nice to have one anyways. There is a restaurant in the lobby that we didn't try, but their desserts looked good.

I would definitely recommend Topeka's Steakhouse while you're there...it's just across the parking lot.
