Arcady Vineyard Bed & Breakfast
Certificate of Excellence

We were in dire need of a getaway and couldn't have been more successful than our Wine Lovers weekend at Arcady. First experience with a B&B and all of our expectations were exceeded. We will definitely look for B&B opportunities in the future, but Chris and Erika have set the bar pretty high and I can't even imagine anyone topping the Banana/Macadamia pancakes, OMG!!! Would highly recommend to others and will visit again in the future.

Room Tip: The Arcand room has it's own entrance and porch, very nice.

My wife and I never went to a bed and breakfast before. We normally travel to large hotels like Hilton and Marriott. However, we were both delighted that we mad the choice to try this B&B. The inn and the rooms were fantastic: very well appointed, the whirlpool tub was a nice way to relax after our first day of driving in heavy traffic from the Philly area (about 3 hours).Upon our arrival, we were greeted at our car by Chris the owner. He showed us directly to our room and explained how everything works. He then introduced us to his wife Erika, who sat with us on their beautiful deck over looking the vineyard as we enjoyed a little wine and cheese to help us unwind from the drive.
The next day we had a fantastic breakfast made by Chris and Erika, we relaxed for a bit and then went on the wine tour with Chris. During the drive, he explained all the different ways to make various wines and took us to 4 different wineries. After the first two, we enjoyed a very nice cheese, crackers and chocolate platter that he supplied. We returned to the inn for a little rest and then Chris took us to town for dinner. We had met another couple on the tour and we enjoyed having dinner with them. Erika picked us up after dinner and we returned to the inn for a nice relaxing whirlpool soak and a good nights rest.
We had another delicious breakfast the next day before leaving. If you have ever considered going to a B&B, choose this one and you will not be sorry.

Chris and Erika are excellent owner and hosts.

My wife and I spent our 26th wedding anniversary at Arcady and had an amazing weekend. The owners are simply fantastic hosts! We loved the nice room and the breakfasts were satisfying with great use made of local ingredients.

After check-in on our first night, they escorted us to a local wine and cheese shop for a tasting. That was a great warm-up for the Wine Tasting Tour on Saturday. Erika and Chris have a great love of wine and a wonderful knowledge that they share with you on the tour. They also have a great working relationship with the wineries and make sure that the day is picture perfect. The fruit and cheese plate during the tour hits the spot. We visited four wineries and came back with an assortment of wine to make up our own case!

On Saturday night they offer a nice drop off and pick up service into downtown Charlottesville. A great added service!

They welcome you with a sparkling wine and the turndown service includes port which is made from the grapes they have at their place and some high-end chocolates ...

We took advantage of the farmer's market in C-Ville on Sat. morning and on Sunday we stopped by Monticello for a tour which is located less than five minutes from Arcady!

We hope to return again next year!

I bought the "travlin through" package for my husband's birthday. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and I was a little nervous about trying one. Chris and Erica were so warm and welcoming that we felt like family. The inn was beautiful and immaculately clean. I can not say enough good things about the food. Our breakfast was delicious and the cheese plate that was part of our wine tour was wonderful. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking for something different from your run of the mill hotel room.

Arcady is a home away from home with luxurious accomadations. Me and my husband had never been to a Bed and Breakfast before and to our avail this was an Excellent Choice. Erika and Chris were gracious host and Chris cooks the "Best" breakfast!!! The Mazzei Room was the best room that we could have asked for, the view was gorgeous and the heated tile floors in the bathroom was a nice touch - not to mention the room is off on its on wing which was perfect for honeymooners. We took the Wine/Brewery Tour and Chris was very knowlegable about the area and the various vineyards. Chris selected the winerys with the best view that anyone could imagine. Lastly after the tour Chris/Erika drop you off in town for dinner, which is needed after an afternoon of drinking. Downtown Grille and The Commonwealth Resturants were great choices for dining - The Commonwealth has the best ambiance. Dont forget to go see Monticello.

I brought my wife here for a late birthday gift and we both had a wonderful time. Chris and Erika are wonderful hosts and knowledgeable tour guides. The accommodations were far beyond any other B&B I've ever stayed in and the wine tour was absolutely fantastic. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Five stars for sure.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Arcand room which is a suite outside of the main quarters. It's probably the m...

My wife and I stayed for two days at Acardy in the middle of June, and loved every minute of it. Chris and Erika are wonderful hospitable owners that work very hard to keep their guests comfortable. The entire experience was outstanding, from the beautiful secluded location of the B & B, the amazing Chocolates, the very tasty cheese plate, the complimentary sparkling wine to the amazing first class fresh cooked country breakfast that the owners provided for us. We also took the local wine tour. Chris has an amazing knowledge of everything from the grapes to the wine and everything in between. It was also amazing the owners provided a drop off and pick up to the town of Charlotteville (a very nice quaint little town) for us to have very nice dinner so we didn’t have to drive after taking an afternoon wine tour. You couldn’t ask for a better B&B to stay at.
