Good. A lovely house set in attractive grounds. close to a busy road but we encountered no noise problems. Rooms well appointed, comfortable and tidy.Convivial company at drinks and snacks. Helpful, friendly hosts Bob and Carolyn who gave us a super breakfast .

Three couples spent the weekend of November 15th-17th with Carolyn and Bob in their place at the foot of Monticello. After an amazing breakfast prepared by Jenny, the British cook, Bob loaded us in to his wine tour van and took the six of us to wineries the rest of the day. We stopped at some beautiful places and picnicked at outdoor tables on the wonderful lunch he'd brought for us. We also got a taste of history as Bob is well versed in the local lore surrounding many of the properties we saw. This is a great way to see everything without worrying about getting lost , or have a few too many wines and getting behind the wheel.

We had diner Saturday night at Keswick hall. Bob knows the wine steward there and set this up for us in advance. A truly amazing venue. Just Google it and see for yourself.

Our perfect weekend concluded with another fine breakfast from Jenny and we were off on our journey back to reality.

Room Tip: They are all good but the suite is AMAZING and worth the extra cost.

We had reserved the Monroe Room, but Bob & Carolyn upgraded us to the cottage because their roofers arrived ahead of schedule. Now we're spoiled! The cottage is lovely, private, and exceedingly comfortable. The heirloom canopy bed is the highest bed we've ever slept in, and I felt like a princess waking up under the gorgeous needleworked canopy! However, the piece de resistance was the steam shower. Oh what pleasure after a long day of driving. Breakfast of blueberry pancakes, bacon and fruit was scrumptious, and allowed us to enjoy the main house and get to know the Innkeepers. The hiking trail to Monticello is just across the street, so we were able to walk off our breakfast on a beautiful hiking trail that leads to the Jefferson home. Thank you, Bob and Carolyn, for a lovely introduction to the Charlottesville area.

Wonderful time, perfect location for visiting Montecello, lovely hiking trails right across the street that lead to Monticello. Breakfasts were great and served by lovely hostess, Jenny. We highly recommend this place.

We stayed at the Inn at Monticello for a anniversary weekend getaway Nov 8-10. The B&B was very nice, in a great location, and the breakfast was fantastic. Jenny (sp.?) is a true asset at the Inn. She greeted us when we arrived, cooked truly incredible breakfasts and muffins, and was so very helpful with any requests the guests made. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as the other guests, who were a lot of fun! Thanks to Bob and Carolyn for a great stay. We will definitely be recommending the Inn at Monticello to to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Bob and Carolyn were very helpful with their suggestions on what to do in Charlottesville. The breakfast was healthy and yummy. Our quarters were well appointed and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

A beautiful, comfortable B&B just near the home of Thomas Jefferson and minutes from downtown Charlottesvile, VA; the home of the University of Virginia. A delicious breakfast each morning served by Jenny was much appreciated. Jenny also offered help with planning our day. She is charming and hospitable. Thank you for a great stay!
