We loved our autumn weekend at the Inn of Monticello. The hosts were just super--not intrusive or overly present, but extremely helpful. We especially appreciated their collection of menus and personal suggestions for all the Charlottesville-area restaurants.
I could go on about their hospitality--their personal insights about the local vineyards and the three presidents' homes--but one of the best things was the house itself. Everything was first rate, from the feathery down comforter and plush bathrobes provided, to the lovely period furnishings.
