We arrived around 10:30 p.m. The desk clerk acted as if she couldn't care less if we checked in or not. She offered no smiles and no additional information about the amenities of the hotel. She gave us a room with an obnoxiously loud air conditioning fan. We called the desk clerk; the lady who answered the phone offered us another room. She too did not care if we were comfortable or not. She just wanted us to leave her alone. The pillows in the room had yellow spots on them. It seem like they had every interacted with every type of bodily fluid imaginable. I decided to move my family so we checked out the next morning. When I brought the pillow down to yet another desk clerk, he responded, “Oh…didn’t that have a pillow case?” I recounted my story to this person and told him why we were checking out. This fool had the nerve to ask if we were moving to another hotel with the Extended Stay chain. He offered no type of compensation and charged me the rate without the discount because we only stayed one night. He just said that he would let his manager know about the how bad our stay was. I really do not think that his manager would care whether the guest lived, died or drew their next breath either. A hotel staff is only as good as its management. This place is one step above a homeless shelter.
