We ordered 6 meals for take out on a busy Saturday night. They said it would take 35 minutes, and it ended up taking 1 hour. So the wait was long, but anywhere we would have chosen to go on a Saturday night with a big group of people would have been a wait. We ordered fried shrimp, clams, both steamed and fried, and kids meals (chicken fingers, fried shrimp, and clams). The kids meals were giant - included the meat, french fries, hush puppies, for only $6.95. The fried shrimp platter cost $19.95 and had a lot of shrimp, french fries, hush puppies, and corn on the cob. The corn didn't have much flavor, but the hush puppies and shrimp were good. The steamed clams were ok. Nothing to write home about, but they were good. The fried clams were a little small, but they gave you a TON!! We were all very hungry and chowed down - with lots left over. Prices were average, but again, seafood on a busy weekend - you expect the prices to be a little high. I would probably go back.

Great place to select fresh seafood to have prepared and take back to your hotel room. Staff is friendly and the food is great. Pricing is reasonable and the portions are generous.

We read great reviews but were not impressed. I ordered grilled scallops that came with corn on the cob and hush puppies. The scallops were bland. The hush puppies were the only good thing. My husband had shrimp salad sandwich that fell and apart. It was also bland. It came with a huge bag of soggy fries. We also ordered steam clams that were overcooked and overpriced.

First off the atmosphere was more relaxed and family friendly rather than casual restaurant. At first it looks like a little shack but the food was anything but. There is a small shack like area where you order your food and than wait for your name to be called. If you decide to eat there they have some tables with umbrellas on the outside. Also have several games to entertain yourself with as well while wait or after you eat.

The food was very good. The menu has some different type items that I never seen before such as crab quasadias which were great. Also had traditional seafood like crab cakes, fish etc. But also more traditional children food like chicken nuggets, macaroni cheese bites.

I recommend to skip or shorten your wait to get a menu or look up the menu online and call in your order so just have to pay and pick it up.

We ve been coming here over at least 8 years whenever we re in the neighborhood . Matter of fact, we usually arrange to make sure that our plans include capt zacks when we re aiming to be within a 100 mile radius. The staff is friendly, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is fabulous. Steamed, fried, raw. Crab cakes hush puppies, fried combos steamed combos....only problem???? What to pick?
