My family and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel which is located on Main Street on Chincoteaque Island. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is spotless. The king studio suite was a great size for the 4 of us. The morning breakfast was above average for this type of hotel and there was some nice outdoor seating overlooking the water. It was just a short drive to the wildlife refuge and national seashore. I highly recommend this property.

We went to visit Chincoteage out of curisoty and for a short break from our normal routine. We were pleasantly rewarded with our stay at the Hampton Inn. We would recommend it to others planning to visit that area.

My husband and I took 3 of our grandsons to Chincoteague Island on Wednesday. We were only able to stay for the one night. The Hampton Inn and Suites was located right over the bridge to Chincoteague and on the waterway. The property is in very good condition and the grounds were full of flowers blooming and great foliage. The lobby was beautiful and very welcoming. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Most of our dealings were with Pat and Heather and they were both delightful. We had a king bedded suite with a sofabed and we had a rollaway brought in. The bed was quite comfortable. Of course the boys fell right off to sleep so I suppose there were no complaints from them on their accommodations. The bathroom was nice with the little shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. Plenty of towels. A station is set up so you can get coffee, tea or hot chocolate any time of day and there was a nice big bowl of apples as well. In the evening the check-in desk put out a large platter of chocolate chip cookies. . . Yum! There was an indoor pool with hot tub as well as a small workout room. In the morning there was a nice breakfast room where you could get cold and hot cereals, muffins, bagels, pastries, make your own waffles, omelets with ham, juices. Plenty to eat and it was all included in the price. The location was great in that you could just walk out and go down to where all the stores were located. Also, not far from there was the road to Assateague Island, where the wild ponies are. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this property. We checked out a couple of the others, but we felt this one was in the best location. We can't wait to go back and stay longer!!!

We only had 2 days to spend here but loved every minute of it. Room and beds were extremely comfortable. Beautiful view of the water from a very nice balcony. Many many options to choose from on the free breakfast. Loved the hot tub and pool in the evenings. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: We had a King Studio on 3rd floor (Rm 314) Great sunset view.

Chincoteague is a perfect place for a family vacation in the summer. The hotel was perfectly located and in walking distance of all the attractions except the beach. The beach was accessible by bike or car. The hotel overlooks the bay and causeway. Every room has a view of the water. Internet is not a problem and early morning work was able to be done by a stroll to the outside deck to enjoy the sun coming up in peace and quiet (the seagulls were a bit noisey! LOL). Thumbs up.
