My daughters (19 & 16) and I had the wonderful pleasure of having Tea at Miss Molly's!! We have been to many Afternoon Teas but, NOTHING could compare to this!!! Walking through the doors was like stepping back into time. It was almost as if Marguerite Henry was still there penning "Misty of Chincoteague." Lynn & Maria personally baked every sweet & savory morsel that we ate. There was a delicious pot of English tea, fresh local strawberries, flowers....just magnificent!!! The Inn and the gardens are so beautiful and kept to the original appeal. Thanks Lynn & Maria for providing a cherished memory!!

Room Tip: Marguerite Henry's room has a king bed and is lovely!! Top floor has suite for families.

Excellent establishment! Room was well appointed, comfortable bed. Food is not only homemade but high end. Yesterday we had veggie and sausage quiche. Today marzipan rolls followed by Dutch apple pancakes. With the screened in porch, homemade assortment of snacks (cookies and brownies), lemonade, tea coffees... It's perfect. Even had bike and beach gear at the ready at no charge.

This place was great. It was my first time staying at a B&B, it was my wife's first time too. We arrived late because of bad weather and when we called to inform someone that we were still coming the woman couldn't have been nicer. She left directions for what to do and told us to take our time - she cared about our safety which I thought was very nice. We stayed in the Captain Jack room which has a private bath down the hall. The room was adequate size for the two of us, the gave us a card and a small bottle of wine for our 1yr anniversary. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The breakfast on both mornings was great too. They didn't serve too much nor did they serve too little. The staff was all very nice and they made you feel like it was your house to hang out in. They also offered items for the beach like towels, frisbee, boogie board and toys for the sand. Overall great place and we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: For couples I would recommend the Captain Jack room. I

Excellent breakfast and great friendly service! The staff was awesome as well as the other guests. Right in the heart of everything that Chincoteague Island has to offer with everything being within walking distance including great seafood restaurants and shops. Breakfast was served promptly every morning while our room was turned down while we ate. There were bicycles that were complimentary to get around the island as well as beach gear if you needed it. Would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast!

Although we arrived later than their usually check in and were not expected, Lin hurried right over to Miss Molly's and made sure we were comfortable and knew were to get a fine meal at 9 pm. We were in what was probably the least desirable room (remember we were late arrivals) but it was lovely. The Inn itself is a graceful Victorian home with all sorts of interesting art and historical information throughout. The breakfast the next morning was, as promised, truly a gourmet's delight . The staff was welcoming and friendly saying that they were glad we decided to stay for breakfast. So were we! We would highly recommend Miss Molly's.

Nice home with a beautiful garden. Not sure if something was going on with Sam and Lin and their staff internally but they honestly didn't seem to want us there. Sam was helpful and engaging the first day but the young lady in the kitchen seemed irritated when I asked for eggs for my daughter for breakfast. After that she wasn't very friendly toward me throughout the rest of our stay. We met Lin our last morning there and she helped me with the keurig coffee maker which had the wrong instructions on it. I pointed out that the instructions were wrong and that didn't seem to matter. The guests we met were all very nice and friendly and the patio setting was wonderful for socializing. I would go back if they had been friendlier.

We would like to respond to the lady that said she felt we were unfriendly, the young lady in the kitchen is recovering from a stroke and we thought she was having a TIA that morning and yes, we were distracted, we"re sorry that you noticed. As for the kuerig instructions we took them straight off the box the machine came in.We want all our guests to be happy that they stayed with us and apologise if you weren"t. Please come and stay with us again and we will try our best to make it a 5 star experience. Sam and Lin

I would highly recommend a stay at Miss Molly’s Inn on Chincoteague Island! Our hosts combined wit and humor with a delicious breakfast, lovely décor, a gorgeous garden, and obvious knowledge of the local area. Its past is famous as the place where the author Marguerite Henry stayed when researching her timeless children’s book, Misty of Chincoteague. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay and visit the famous ponies on Assateague.
