“Nice Location”
Reviewed 7 July 2013

Very nice place... right on the dock it was beautiful! The hospitality not so inviting.. Kitty was great! The food very good! Also, no swimming in the pool after the beach! The owner was cold as a Canadian Winter...

Room Tip: Don't stay in room 201... the plumbing makes a lot of noise! Also, don't bring a lot of stuf...

The room and location make this B&B worth a stop but breakfast is outstanding. Perfectly prepared omelettes, bacon, fresh fruit and juice, good coffee; made this one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had, and it is included in the price of the room! We were in 202 and it was spacious enough with a separate outside entrance. There are a lot of stairs. The view fromt he back deck is very nice. This is good value for good waterfront rooms.

What a beautiful Bed & Breakfast! The décor was lovely and the hosts were friendly. They kept menus of the local restaurants so you could see what place you wanted to eat at for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was amazing-everything was so fresh! We stayed in the Oriental Room which was very pretty and had a lovely breeze blowing through the room. We watched the sunrise from our private deck and took a stroll out on their dock. We came for our anniversary, and everything was so perfect. Even the baseboards were clean! (Yes, I checked). I would highly recommend this place.

Spent one night on a girls get away and really was pleased with the experience. It was a cooler than normal March weather and the fireplace in our room was lovely. Room was spacious for the 3 of us, very clean and beautifully decorated. Claudia was a welcoming hostess making some calls to check on dinner plans for us. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The inn sits on the bay and is a great location, close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood.

This was my girlfriend's first time at Chincoteague, and my first time in a few years. We both agree that this is the BEST place on the island to stay. The staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful, and breakfast was consistently delicious and very fresh. It is very quiet and relaxing and in a nice location with a beautiful waterfront view and away from a lot of traffic, loud children and chaos. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the decorating and the overall layout; very cozy and comforting. Felt like a home away from home. The fireplace in the Oriental suite was a beautiful touch. Overall, it is the best place you can stay on the island for your money (and I have stayed at several places at Chincoteague throughout the years). We will be making this an annual tradition. :)

This B&B is a real gem! The location on the water is really nice. It is close enough to town but far enough away to be very quiet. The room was lovely with a king bed, love seat and chair. The TV was small but we didn't really watch it much (they are upgrading the TVs). We didn't have a need to for the fireplace but it looked nice. The breakfast porch was nice with three fans going to keep the air moving. We were there for five nights and didn't have the same breakfast twice. Each breakfast was delicious and substantial. We didn't need to eat lunch. The owner was very helpful with recommendations on places to eat. Although we have been to the island quite a few times, we discovered a few new favorites based on her suggestions. The staff was very good and very friendly. The room was very clean and well taken care of each day. We have stayed at the same place for years and found this place by accident. I don't think we will stay anywhere else but here from now on.
