“Great food, awesome price!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014 via mobile

Went to Sakura last weekend with a friend. The building looks run down on the outside, but the inside is fine. The service, food, and price were all great! At an average hibachi steakhouse, the average steak and chicken would cost $20 or more. I ordered Filet Mignon and chicken for just $11! Would recommend to anyone looking for Japanese food on a budget.

“Reliably good food and service at low prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014

We eat here anytime we're in the mood for local Japanese food that doesn't cost a lot and is fairly quick.
The food is comparable to most of the hibachi places, but the prices are much lower and it doesn't use up half our afternoon.
As many have already mentioned, the portion size is substantial. We order two meals and always have enough to take home and have another meal (or even two) from what we have left.
It's in a former Fazoli's location, so it's not fancy, but it's clean and tidy.

“Good Japanese without the Show”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2014 via mobile

If you are wanting good Japanese feed without the overpriced hibachi show, this is a good deal. Restaurant set-up and you order from the menu. The food comes out quickly, hot and tasty. Meals come with the soup/broth and a salad which I highly recommend the ginger dressing. It is about as cheap to eat here as your fast food burger joint but the food is soooo much better.

“Huge portions, yummy food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2014

My husband and I like to go to Sakura when we're really hungry at lunch. They serve all kinds of noodles and rice dishes with various meats and/or seafood. They also serve sushi. The prices are ridiculously low, and you can get 3 or 4 meals out of just one order. We will return over and over.
