We've dinned here multiple times over the past 6 months and have enjoyed each evening. A small, bit out of the way, tapas-style restaurant in a new residential development. Ample parking. I am surprised that it isn't more crowded but it is not a "drive by" location. The food has been consistently excellent and very appealingly presented. The portions are just right for sharing (4-5 dishes for two). Recommended dishes: Shrimp & Grits, Moroccan Spiced Tuna, Duck Empanada, Slider Gorganzola, Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Cake (unusual taste combination), Bruschetta Duo, Beet salad, Kale Salad. The server was excellent, friendly and very helpful in navigating among the choices. The restaurant is quiet enough that one can carry on a conversation and enjoy your companions as well as the meal.

Had Sun brunch there for 9 people. The staff was very friendly. The food was fantastic (especially the No BUll Burger and the French Toast). They had a good selection of wine and bubbly. I thought the bill was incredibly reasonable for a large party and the quality of food.

We sat at the bar, enjoyed some wonderful wine, good food and great conversation with the very personable owner, from Naples.

We particularly liked that they use fresh and healthy ingredients and support local producers (locally baked bread, Afton-farmed produce, Charlottesville hand-made pasta).

Local business that supports local business. Love it.

We enjoyed..
- Stuffed Piquillo pepper stuffed with Goat cheese/Basil pesto - Excellent
- Mussels Toscano – White bean|Red pepper flake|Garlic broth - Different and Good
- Kobe beef sliders - Wonderful

Great conversation with both the owner and the wait staff. Wonderful presentation. Overall Wonderful experience.

Just moved to Olld Trail and fell in love with our new Italian bistro, da Luca Café. I am on a strict diet and they were so accommodating. Our server, Jess was warm and so knowledgeable regarding the wines, beverages and food. We were a party of four and we all loved our meals. It was restaurant week and we enjoyed a 3 course dinner for $26 Worth every penny..My sister said her cocktail was perfect, not overly sweet.
