“Cute but oh so expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

While exploring the area, we happened to find this adorable market. Since I am a foodie at heart, I was excited. The market has a little of everything but the weekend we were there (mothers day weekend) the produce was wilted and aging. There was not much in the deli case and what was there was over priced for what you got. Free range/organic eggs were $6.50 and whole chickens over $25.00. I don't mind a bit of a mark-up....but wow! They did have some reasonable gift items but overall just too expensive.

“excellent food and drink but pricey and no loos”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

Our son loves this place so we always stop for at least coffee (very good) and the food is extremely good, and the owner a delight but please open your restroom to the customers.

“I really look forward to coming here enroute to the Brewridge (RT151)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

Pricey...sure. Awesome...YES! You get what you pay for. The beer selection for such a small out of the way place is awesome! They have beers that you cannot find at Total Wine, Beer Run, Whole Foods, Wegman's etc. I got the pleasure of getting waited on my the lady that orders the beer. She helped me find all the sours I could want. She was a great help. If you are reading this, thank you!

“Overpriced!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 October 2013

Upscale...yes and it shows with the prices they charge. Since I am a local I have found exact items in other places less expensive. Having said that, if you are in a hurry or feel you owe yourself a bit of an indulgence, this is the place. Sandwiches are good and some interesting combinations. Soup, a real disappointment. The Virginia Ham and Brie sandwich is delicious although for almost $10, not much ham!!! This is a good place for a nice hostess gift or upcoming stocking stuffers for the foodies on your list. But, if you look about you can certainly get better prices for the same items elsewhere.
