Hands down Hayden, Dick and their son Tim have created one of the loveliest bed and breakfasts on the East Coast. I'll confess that I tend to be a snob about accommodations and really prefer to stay in 4-5 star abodes. Needless to say, The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm did not disappoint. We stayed in the Wildflower Room with a beautiful view of the autumn colored mountains. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated but more importantly...they were immaculate. I thoroughly enjoyed a luxury bath in the two-person Jacuzzi bathtub (avec 90 degree two-headed shower heads overhead) and one of my favorite things about the B&B was the rooftop deck. Both nights we sat outside for an hour soaking in the peaceful night sounds, exquisite full moon and brilliant stars. We took mugs of tea and a blanket from the room and sat there in absolute wonderment of this blessed place. In terms of convenience, Hayden and her husband thought of everything -- in the bathrooms were containers of cotton balls, Q Tips, facial/make-up wipes, a hairdryer, bubble bath, shampoo, soaps, antibacterial wash, a pillow for the Jacuzzi bathtub, extra plush towels, clean/ironed robes, slippers, tissue lined trash cans (love how "green" that is!), a stool to help with getting in/out of the tub, etc. In the common area on the 2nd floor we had access to free icy cold soda, refrigerator space for anything we needed to keep cold, microwave popcorn, microwave, clean coffee mugs, teas, steaming hot water, coffee, a basket of toothbrushes and toothpaste, etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting about the majority of delightful things they provided for us. At every turn I kept saying out loud "They thought of everything." I have stayed in B&B's all over New England, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, California, etc. The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm was one of the nicest B&B's by far. The breakfasts were on time, hot, wonderfully prepared/seasoned and presented. Hayden, Dick and Tim constantly came around refilling coffee, hot water, etc. And if the STUNNING atmosphere and accommodations were not enough, I have to say that I loved the owners. They took all the time in the world to answer our questions and to provide us with any/all information that we could possibly need. You would have thought that we were the first customers to ever stay in their B&B. They've been doing this for 19 years!!! I was dumbfounded at how gracious and generous they were with their time and energy. I cannot say enough great things about this B&B. It's tucked away in one of the most stunning and breathtaking areas that I've ever seen. If I didn't know any better I would have thought that I were in Vermont. The atmosphere and accommodations were exquisite and Hayden, Dick and Tim were equally as lovely. Thank you for making our time away so amazing....
