King bed room had been updated but the facility is in the midst of upgrade. While room was wonderful, elevator, hallways etc were not up to par with what we expect from a Marriott. Loved the large tv and room decor, but linens were not Marriott standard. Maybe I am used to regular Marriott's and Courtyards are different? Staff was helpful and although restaurant was under renovation breakfast was nice in a meeting room. Appreciated the free internet service.

We stayed at the Danville Courtyard on 10/9. Had a super king room with a couch and oversized big screen TV Could had stayed there for a month, very comfortable. The staff was friendly, biggest issue is that there are no decent eating places in the area.

I stayed here for two nights on business. On the positive side, I found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated- very tastefully so- and the outdoor pool, indoor jacuzzi, and small exercise room were above average- and clean. My two beefs are: (1) the cost of the snacks and breakfast items- rather pricey, in my opinion, for this area [FYI- there is a Wal-Mart and a grocery store within a mile or so, where you can get reasonably priced snacks, as well as Coke (only Pepsi is sold here)] and (2) the charge for local phone calls- absolutely no reason to stiff guests for local calls (internet access is complimentary, though). If you are expecting a free breakfast, this is not the place- try the Hampton Inn next door or the Holiday Inn Express across the street. This hotel is located on a busy highway- but it is set back from the street- and I had no problem with noise. There are several restaurants within a short drive, so there are options in that regard. No real red flags here- just wish it was located closer to downtown!

I was in Danville for a court hearing and stayed at this hotel for a night. It is about 2 miles from downtown on a busy road where it appears most of the city's hotels are located. The hotel appears to have recently undergone some renovation as the hallways had a faint new carpet smell. The rooms are fairly small, but well appointed in the Courtyard style. It has a large desk work area. Oddly the bed was just regular without some special bedding like most hotels use. The rooms do have the under the window type A/C units which can be a bit noisy. The lobby is large with a dining area that serves some level of breakfast. Overall, this is a decent choice for Danville and is a typical Courtyard hotel.

Nice clean hotel off a main road. Beds were great, TV had lots of channels, wifi worked great, a/c blew strong.

We had two rooms next to each other and I could hear my teenager laughing in the next room so not sure if the walls were thin or my teenager was especially loud. Other than that, it was very quiet, no road noise as you are on top of a hill.

There is no free continental breakfast. We opted to go to the Burger King for breakfast which is just a block down the road from the hotel.

Staff were all very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.
