We have stayed at Hotel Floyd several times and we have always been very pleased with the accomodations. This time, we brought our dog and were delighted to see how many nice amenities have been added for dogs. The room was very spacious, included pet dishes, and a mesh pet bed. There is a doggie bag station near the parking lot and plenty of open space for walks. Thanks Hotel Floyd! We will be back soon...

Room Tip: Pet rooms are in a separate building making it easier to ensure that guests in non-pet rooms are not...

I spent over 3 hours trying to decide where to stay in Floyd (cabins-B&B's) and finally decided on the Hotel Floyd. It turned out to be a great clean quiet place. It was really convenient to just walk to anything in town. The staff was very helpful when we checked in and they gave us a flyer with everything that was going on in town and places to eat and things to do.
The one thing interesting that in the little town of Floyd you can only get wine and beer, no cocktails anywhere except for a little place outside of town called Rays. It is your typical country bar with smokers which I hate but we still had a great time just talking to the locals. It seems all of the farmers come out on Friday night. The Country Store in town on Friday nights has a jamboree with live bluegrass and cloggers. Fun to watch. Also lots of little stores to check out. It was a fun weekend!!!

Room Tip: We chose the Moon room. My first choice was the one with the 4 poster bed but it was already taken...

This is such a wonderful and charming hotel. The rooms are so comfortable and each one is decorated differently. The art work and beatiful craftsmanship added so much to our stay. It would be a tradegy if to much success spoiled it.

We had to stay overnite when an icestorm prevented us from staying with our daughter, after driving from Chicago. We found the hotel to be very pleasant and very clean. It was comfortable, and in a great location. The locally made furniture and crafts added to the experience. We were in the FloydFest Room with a very comfortable King Bed. Very friendly staff... And we had great pizza at the DogTown restaurant. We also enjoyed a loaf of bread baked at the local Sweetwater Bakery!
If ever necessary, we would return to the Floyd Hotel.

Its just a neat place. When a hotel takes the time to coordinate small details, you know you've found a gem. Clean, fresh, and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciate their use of local arts and crafts. For those who don't know Floyd, you are missing a little gem. If you come, stay here. On second thought, stay away. We don't want this place spoiled by to much success.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in while travling with our pets. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definately stay again! Thanks for a wonderful week-end.
We loved the tiled floors the full kitchen and separate bedroom. There was adaquate space for our dogs to walk and they were at ease.
