“Welcoming retreat”
Reviewed 25 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This recently refurbished and well equipped little house is ideal for exploring the region. In a delightful courtyard setting, it offers peace without isolation. We walked and borrowed bicycles to explore the lovely countryside and the helpful owners kindly gave us eggs from their own chickens and ducks, an entertainment in themselves. I would be happy to recommend this gite or either of the other two. We stayed in La Maison Longue last year and were equally impressed.

“Loved it !”
Reviewed 30 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

First time we have stayed at this gite but have stayed at one of the others and we were not disappointed. Great welcome including the welcome pack. The gite was perfect for us. Had everything we needed including a lovely wood burner to keep us cosy at night. Great bathroom and an amazing beamed bedroom with a very comfortable bed. We had good weather which was a bonus as we could sit outside in the garden sipping our wine watching the chickens and ducks. We visited Le Treport whist there which is a lovely fishing port and got the chance to go on the Funicular there. Lots of seafood restaurants if you like your seafood but try to get there early as busy. Would definitely stay again and might choose their other gite which we were shown. That looked great too. Decisions, decisions ! Thank you again to Keran and Keith.

Thank you so very much for coming to stay with us again, and for your very kind comments. We are so pleased you enjoyed being here - that is very important to us. You should come back and try Le Tournesol when it is sunny and warm and perhaps the pool will be ready then!- we're sure you won't be disappointed. We will visit Le Treport soon so can let you know how we enjoyed it following your recommendation. Thank you once again, Keith & Keran

“A great New Years stay!”
Reviewed 8 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Booked this gite for a New Years break, have stayed here before as it is such a lovely place to relax and unwind. The gite is extremely cosy, beautifully decorated in my opinion 5 star accommodation. We particularly liked the Woodburner which was needed as it was -4 outside! Would highly recommend this to anyone. Keith and Keran thank you for making us feel so welcome!

“Lovely gite and friendly hosts”
Reviewed 27 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We were so pleased with La Petite Paquerette, it is ideal for two people, has a comfortable bed, modern bathroom and is well equipped. The weather was good to us and we took advantage of the garden to relax and be entertained by the chickens and ducks. The area is perfect for visiting the Somme etc and although there are no bars within walking distance it is worth the drive to Hesdin, Auxi le Chateau or St Riquier where there are good restaurants. Our hosts were lovely and Keith's knowledge of the places of interest to visit, particularly the World War sites, was most interesting. Just a great holiday and we hope to return.

“Welcoming and comfortable gite in a quiet rural setting”
Reviewed 15 May 2016 for a stay in September 2015

La Petite Paquerette offers comfortable accomodation in a peaceful rural village. The ownwers could not be more welcoming or helpful and provided many facilities to make our stay enjoyable. The fact that we have stayed here eight times now is testament to how much we like the area and accomodation. The Gite is ideally situated in a quiet village but a short drive ( 8-10 mins) takes you the local town which has 2 supermarkets, fuel, shops and restaurants. Coastal resorts are within easy reach as are the WW1 heritage sites in and around the Somme. More locally there are some WW2 V1 (flying bomb) launch sites and you will find Keith quite knowlegable about these if you want to know more. All in all there is much to do and see in the area - we are still finding new and interesting things after 8 visits!! - and at the end of the day you have a quiet spot to come "home" to and enjoy a glass/cup of your favourite tipple.

Hi Jeannee

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review on La Petite Paquerette. We always look forward to your visits and it gives us great pleasure to know you both enjoy your stays here. You're correct when you say there is so much to see here; after 10 years we are still exploring the area ourselves.

Looking forward to seeing you both later in the year.

Very best wishes
Keith & Keran

“Relaxed and happy”
Reviewed 9 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This property is ideal for 2 people to relax and chill out. The bed is very comfortable and allows for a good nights rest. There is access to a barbecue and lounger chairs in the shared garden where there is sunshine for most of the day into the early evening. The views out over the fields are very nice as well. Look out for the chickens when they roam about they enjoy pecking everywhere.
The welcome pack is always a treat. You have easy access to a variety of places - historical, countryside and even the coast is quite close by.
