After a long day hiking our family of four had a late dinner at Soul Mountain. We were tired and really hungry.. After a trip to the bathroom and a view into the kitchen we were ready to walk out. Filthy walls and floors and the kitchen looked dreadful. It took a really long time for our food to arrive and everyone's came at scattered times. But the food was incredible. Prepared from scratch with wonderful spicing and flavor. My barbecue sandwich was delicious. Side of fries pretty good. Side of couscous that the chef added was amazing. Everyone loved what they ordered and we were glad we stayed. Would probably not return because of the cleanliness issue but still talk about that food which is why I give Soul Mountain a generous 4. Beer seems to be the beverage at this place because when we asked about their wines we were told they had red. The brand was a very cheap one. We passed.
