The hotel and staff were very good, but could not overcome the roaring train seated right next to the building. I did like the variety offered at breakfast and the hotel staff were very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations.

Nice hotel located close to the intersate and with plenty of resturants and shops within walking distance. The only issue is the train. Next to the hotel are train tracks that are partially enclosed. The enclosure amplifies the train noise. You will hear the train in the hotel at all hours. If you are in the parking lot you will feel the vibration and hear the roar.

Hotel provided breakfast was OK. The normal waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. The breakfast area and eating area were exceptionally clean.

Finally, the hotel smell. The place smell like crayolas. Yeah - crayons. Everywhere. The staff said they didn't notice it but we and others did.

For a stay of 1 or 2 nights, especially for a family event, the Hampton Inn brand, in general, is comfortable and reasonably priced. The location was ideal and within walking distance of many restaurants as well as other retail stores. For short stays, I typically use a Hampton Inn. Have not been disappointed yet.

The staff were welcoming and excellent coffee is available 24/7. Complimentary high speed internet was acceptable. TV had great channel line up - except if you're looking for Golf Channel. Staff warned about train noise, but I never heard it from the room. Location offers easy walk to Starbuck's, Panera Bread, Target and much more.

Stayed here for an overnight trip when going to see a concert at Jiffy Lube Live. Front desk staff was friendly, stowed our luggage for us so we could go explore while our room was being cleaned. Based on previous reviews I requested a "non train side" room but the way the hotel is situated, that's kind of impossible. Hotel provides ear plugs which was a nice touch but I slept through the night without being disturbed. Breakfast was nice, good variety and staff kept everything well stocked. My only suggestion would perhaps be to have it run until 11am for those of us who aren't "early risers." I had just stayed at a VERY EXPENSIVE Marriott a few weeks ago in Boston, and this Hampton Inn at 1/3 the price, was just as nice!

Room Tip: Not sure if it makes a difference, but ask for room "away from train."
