“Spacious ADA Room”

My husband is in a wheelchair so we always need an accessible room. This one was the largest ADA room we have ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and wash cloths in the bath. You could hear noise from the floor above but this was not really a problem. The front desk was very helpful in giving me a late check out time and bereavement rate since we were on our way to a memorial for a friend.

My credit card number was stolen by one of the employees. Charges were made beginning the day I checked in and continued until the day I checked out. I only noticed this after I got back home, so please be careful.

This is a serious accusation and what I can't understand is why the hotel wasn't contacted and the General Manager hadn't been made aware that this occurred? This review was left yesterday, which was a week after your checkout date, with something this serious, we should have been notified immediate upon your discovery of this so we could have tried to help you get to the bottom of it. I can assure you that we have an honest staff here at our establishment and have never had an incident such as this happen before. Now, I can explain that if you use a debit card, a hold is placed for incidentals that will show up on your statement, but this is only an authorization, no charges have been made for this. This is something that automatically happens at check in when your card is swiped. This is only 25%, but this is normally lifted within 5 business days of your departure. I'm baffled that if this case is being investigated why no one has contacted the hotel to speak to management and try and resolve it? We'd be more than happy speak with you on this matter, so please feel free to contact managment.

Good location. Closest we could get to Martinsville for the race. About hour drive to track. Always enjoy staying at the Hampton Inn whenever we can. Great value although we paid a premium for the race weekend. Always a great free breakfast. Watch out for the deer driving back in the dark!!!

Bugs in room and stairways. Bathroom was not clean. The air conditioner/heat unit blew on me the whole night and was extremely loud. Constant slamming of doors. Big truck parkerd in front of lobby at 2 am and remained there all night. Will never return to this inn.

This Hampton Inn is in Gretna, not major city. I wish the rates were lower. I stay there once a month. Many tmes for just one night. It is a remote area with very little restaraunts. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I stay there once a month and it's consistently good service.

The location of the Motel is perfect for me..It is located between my brother and sister who live in Gretna..The motel is easy to get to..The rooms were very clean, the beds were clean and comfortable. The loby is great to meet friends and have a cup of coffee.. All of the workers were very friendly and polite.

Clean, well equipment and comfortable room and hotel. Staff was very helpful when asked for places to eat. They were always there to help if needed. The breakfast was nice. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again in 2014.
