“Wonderful Stay”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

We were visiting Patrick Henry College this weekend, and were given the Zion Springs B&B as a recommendation from the PHC.edu website. What a marvelous stay! Jon and Chris were terrific hosts - giving us great recommendations on places to check out locally, and serving simply delicious food. Chris' Pecan Coffee Cake nearly put us all in a coma! ;) We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

We stayed one night in late March in the Jefferson Davis suite. The room was spacious, clean and nice. The hosts were gracious. Josh cooked us an amazing breakfast and we had a nice time chatting as well. The location is beautiful, overlooking fields and a stream, with a huge porch to relax on. Importantly for us, we could easily bike here from the W&OD rail trail, and it was only a couple miles ride into Purcellville for dinner.

We love this B&B and have stayed there 12 times in the past 3 years. The Lee suite has a living room, bath, and bedroom, so it is much better than a hotel. There's a small fridge in the room and Chris always has some snacks on hand. The B&B is situated in a beautiful setting with lovely flower gardens around the house. We've enjoyed getting to know the whole family, and they take really good care of us. Breakfasts are tasty.

One of our favorite memories was coming here a couple summers ago (my date is off) with our son to visit Patrick Henry College. Very clean, super sweet hostess with amazing family and property! The food...well, it was so good...we felt so pampered and every birthday, I make these amazing muffins that were made for us by the hostess! French puffs from the Pioneer Woman (pictured). I would have loved to have stayed a week here and if we ever go visit D.C. again, we will definately stay here. It was a very easy drive and so worth it to stay in beauitufl Loudon County!

Room Tip: We liked the privacy of staying apart from the main house in the "barn"

My wife booked this Bed & Breakfast at the last minute as our first choice was already booked for the evening. I was a tad skeptical about her booking as I am a Trip Advisor junkie, and seeing a limited amount of reviews with no pictures had me thinking twice about our reservation. Upon our arrival all doubts were immediately erased. What a BEAUTIFUL Bed & Breakfast! An absolute immaculate home set on a picturesque plot of land. The rooms were overwhelmingly large, clean and modern. Not to mention the location was perfect and the price was right, as we were looking for a sort of home base to tour VA wine country. Chris (owner) was such a pleasure to deal with and was an absolute delight. Zion Springs is a fairly new B&B (2+ years in business) but it seems as if this family has been in the business for decades. Zion Springs has now become our FIRST choice for B&B's when in Loudoun County and I look forward to our return visit!

And yes, breakfast was DELICIOUS!

My fiance and I stayed at Zion Springs for 2 nights during our trip to Virginia for a wedding. This may have been one of the best places we could have found to stay in. The whole family was wonderful. We got to enjoy meeting other guests over a delicious breakfast and had great conversations with the guests and the family who owns Zion Springs. The accommodations felt just like home. Everything was clean, neat, and we had everything we needed. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. We were given many suggestions on what to do during the days we were in VA by Chris and her husband. I could not say one bad thing about this place and would definitely return if I ever find myself back in the area!

Room Tip: Any room would be great. You will be in the middle of the great outdoors surrounded by lots of land...

My husband and I recently stayed at Zion Springs for one night and could not have been more pleased. Chris, the owner, was most gracious and offered restaurant suggestions for dinner. Our room was spacious, very clean, and inviting. It had all the amenities of home and we were quite comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and good too. If in the area again, Zion Springs would definitely be on the overnight itinerary.

Room Tip: The Robert E. Lee is like a small apartment. One bedroom, one bath, living area and a small kitchen...
