This center is okay. If you have children teenager and younger it's better. The Imax theater is very nice and worth a movie.

Many exhibits to keep young and old busy. Flight simulator was fun, but I almost threw up. IMAX is outstanding but cost extra

The VASC holds many special events with the local astronomy club, they will bring out the scopes and binoculars to have observations upstairs on the observation deck. The first time I went was when I took my brother (big space geek!) and his wife. They both were suitably impressed with the quality of the exhibits, and the knowledge of the docents. Sometimes the interactive exhibits are not working, but they do host a LOT of school field trips, so that is to be expected.

The exhibits are top notch for any space or flight fan, but unfortunately, a number of the interactive exhibits were out of order. I suppose it's a symptom of our society's waning interest in the space program. Great info about the early days of NASA, plus the Apollo 12 space capsule.
