Wife and I were touring the Shenandoah and spent the night in H'burg. Went downtown and ran into a lively, but noisy Sat crowd here- only downside to vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors. We opted to go through, down and out back to the patio. Best plan "B" option for a nice Spring night. Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. Limited menu options, but our meals were excellent. She had a tuna steak and I had tri-tip medallions with sauteed mushrooms and we shared an appetizer. Sauteed Green Beans were soggy- nuke to par-cook, then finish in pan is the way to go, chef. We finished with coffee and the well-received "Bananas Foster" and left feeling well served in all regards. The Harper's Ferry death march awaits us...don't get off the bus. All the best, G.

We had an early reservation on Easter Saturday as that was all we could get. Now we know why the place is so crowded. All of the food for our party of 12 was excellent. We ordered a bunch of the appetizers and they were all amazing. Same with the entrees, and the drinks menu was substantial. To top it off, it was all reasonably priced. Service might have been a little more attentive, but thats being a little picky on what was a very busy evening for the staff there. This is my new favorite restaurant in Harrisonburg.

First time here as we r from Yorktown and we were sat right away on Easter Sunday brunch. Nice wait staff. My salmon cakes with chili mornay sauce and poached eggs was perfect. My husband said the eggs clementine was so so . However the banana Foster bread pudding made the meal. Order this first!!! Really melts in your mouth

Clementine's is my go-to restaurant when entertaining out of town guests. The atmosphere is laid-back urban, with a little pretentiousness thrown in. The menu offers a limited number of items (compared to big chains) and it changes with each season, but generally you can rely on standard sandwiches, a variety of salads, and a few entrees that range from pasta to salmon to steak. Everything I have ever ordered has been top quality. A patio out back offers more pub-like food and a great atmosphere during warmer months. Live music is offered inside on several nights a week. The only problem I have with this restaurant is that there is not a separate dining area and performance area. A few friends and I went for dinner around 7:30 and when the band came out shortly before 9:00, we were told we had to leave or pay a $10 cover each. We had just been served our desserts and had not had time to take the first bite! Tacky.

Clementines is a good solid place to go to lunch and a nice, casual dinner. Minue is not extensive, but everything is prepared very well. Priced for almost anyone.
