We arrived late at night to prepare for going on to Blacksburg for a football game the next day. We had difficulty finding a place to park, as the parking lot seemed to be shared by three hotels, but found one eventually. Okay. The lobby was immaculate and the desk worker very nice and helpful. The room was quite large, modern and nicely furnished, and very clean, with a microwave and small fridge. The queen sized bed was comfortable and the bathroom good sized and clean. So, a very good room.

Cons. Breakfast. The breakfast area was too small to accommodate the number of guests. Breakfast was an assembly of different carbs...muffins that tasted like sand, danish that tasted like hockey pucks (tasted one as a teenager), breads that were also cheap. They only had one waffle iron and the line was about 5-6 people all of the time, so no waffles. No eggs or meat. Did have some yogurt-like substance and there were apples.

Also, the walls were quite thin and we could here the conversations of the people next door to us and they were not screaming. But it did not keep us awake.

So, if you just want a nicely furnished room with polite staff, this is a great value. Just don't expect to be thrilled by the free breakfast. Would stay there again, but plan on going out for a meal.

We stayed at this hotel after taking a cruise to Bermuda. We were very pleased. The hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will definately stay there.
