This park features goats, sheep, pigs, cows, horses, chickens and more, all really asseccible to children of all ages. Plus weekly farmers market, farm fresh eggs (if you get there early enough), bluegrass concerts, carnivals and more. All in an easily reachable county park.

Love the Frying Pan Park. A great place to visit to see animals, go to a farmers' market, or capture some history.

This delightful farm lets us all slow down a little bit. Walking along the paths to visit the farm animals, ducking inside the arena to watch talented riders and their beautiful steeds, participating in a 4-H fair -- it's all in a day's enjoyment at Frying Pan Park. Perfect place to let toddlers and young children run around, take a hayride, adore the animals, and generally be out with nature -- all hidden in the dense suburbs of Fairfax County!

Fantastic farm with knowledgeable staff. A real asset to the local community. I've been taking my kids (ages 6 and 8) here since they were born, and they still love it. They especially like to visit the baby animals.

I was putting my 2 1/2 year old daughter to bed one night when she said: "Daddy, I want to see some animals." So, the next morning, I plopped her in the car seat and drove out to Frying Pan Park. It doesn't have as many animals as some of the other similar attractions in the area, but it is free and it is much larger and less crowded. There is a nice playground facility and there is a early 20th century carousel that runs once per hour. I found the staff to be a little less than welcoming; a contrast with some of the other similar parks in the area.
