“You cant go wrong for the price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

Its free,,you can take as little or as long as you want. Spring is a great time to visit...all the baby animals...most will come right up for a pet and a blade of grass...There is a country store, and a tractor ride and a carrousel on weekends, those have small fees...there is also an equestrian center on site where, if lucky you can catch a horse show, or class...very cool little stop of history and fun

“Great for the Kids and Dogs!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014

We go there regularly to run the dogs on the trails and through Farm to see the animals. It seems are new baby animals are born every month. Kids love the animals, merry-go-round, and activities. The park hosts horse shows and dog training, both of which are fun to watch. The woodland trails are our favorite. There's always something going on, and the park has a very interesting history dating back to the depression era.

“I LOVE FRYING PAN PARK!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 January 2014

Frying Pan Farm Park is so much fun! I love to go to the park and talk with Jesse, the draft horse, and all of the other animals (cows, sheep, peacock, ducks, roosters, chickens, sheep, goats, etc). The park is free and is fun to walk around. I go to the park often. There is even a nature trail, and a waterfall to boot! The park also offers great concerts over the summer that are FREE!

“If Old Walt Disney Had a Farm, This Would be It!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2014

The arena is great for the occasional rodeo event and concert. The real big event is the annual 4-H Fair in August, where there are special exhibits, food, and rides for the kiddies. There is a small museum here that "showcases" what "life" in Herndon and surroundings once was like. But, this really is no longer a "working farm". It is, at best, a "preserved farm" and should be regarded as such. Definitely worth taking the kids here to show them where the supermarket gets the food you buy.

This place also has a good picnic ground with a shelter that can be reserved.

One of FCPA's better efforts...

Enjoyed the farmers' market, appeared to have lots of things for families. They also have seasonal activities for kids, including photos with Santa.
