Excellent meal with good wine choices. A bit pricey. Free shuttle service available from the Homestead and meal can be charged to your room. Reservations are required.

Located downtown, a short walk from Homestead. Simple food, gloomy atmosphere, and OK for an alternate dinner.

The Sam Snead tavern is pretty close to the Homestead. Since we were in the west wing of the hotel, it was about a3 or 4 minute walk to the restaurant. It is located in the small town directly behind the Homestead, it was pretty charming over there. The restaurant sits on top of a creek, and is in good condition. The interior is, well, like a tavern. Dark wood interior gives you a different experience than the other restaurants on the property. We were placed in a back corner, under an a/c vent, so we probably would have had a more enjoyable experience if we were seated somewhere else (blame myself for not asking to move.) I had the ribs, which were great. The french fries that came with them were out of this world. My oldest (5yo) had a kids pizza, which was like a Digiorno. Overall it was a good experience. Was it worth $108? Probably not.

Located in the quaint town that sits just below the Homestead Resort, the restaurant is owned by the hotel. It is a very casual place with decent ambience for its type. The food was good not great and the service was fine, not special. If you are a golfer, what makes it worth the visit to this place is all the Sam Snead memorabilia on the walls.

The service and food were great, ate there 3 times everything our rather large group had was incredibly good!
Reservations are certainly recommended! Although one cold and rainy night we got in thanks to the mercies of a helpful staff without reservations.
A must stop in Hot Springs!
