It's truly a magical experience staying at Glen Gordon Manor....the property is unequalled in its grounds, vistas and ambience and the welcoming warmth of the owners Dayn Smith and Nancy Moon made us feel like long lost relatives as they combined just enough pampering with the right amount of freedom to roam the historic grounds and enjoy the Manor.
The "cottage" we stayed in was as fine as the best European Hotels we've experienced and looking out our window at the horses grazing in the field just exemplified the beauty of Virginia.
We were fortunate that Dayn was "home" the weekend we were there, as he prepared our dinner and breakfast with a talent and passion we've rarely experienced.
This was truly an outstanding stop for us and we would definitely go back.
