This place has it all. You walk in the front door through a big red velvet curtain that exposes you to the dark and stylish atmosphere. Then, as if you weren't impressed enough with the ambiance, the food will blow you away. They have payed so much attention to detail. Even the Mac n cheese has been given a grown up make over using feta and shallots. Very romantic for date night but still fun for friends and family. The menu is really unique while still including favorites to please any palette. Great place!

I like this place. It's good. It is probably the best the local area has to offer, but it is getting a bit stale. They need to change the menu and be a bit more creative. Don't get me wrong. This is a good restaurant with great ambience and a good local following. I just think it needs to pick up the pace a bit.

The place has become an icon. I hear great things about the Trick dog wherever I travel. People will ask if it is still there, or still good, ansi am able to reply, YES" ! Unequivically! It is like a club for locals who frequent the place and a happening for those who happen in and out of town.

My wife and I are happy it is there and enjoy going when we can. Try it, you will like it!

We have been visiting The Trick Dog since the very first week the restaurant opened. It is now
under new management, but just as friendly and delicious as ever. There is a wonderful
menu, making use of the seafood for which our area is famous, and the booth-seating ensures
a cozy privacy while there remains the festive ambience of a crowd outside one's enclave.

Service was a little slow, but our server was terrific and the food and wine were delicious. We rode bicycles from The Tides Inn and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
