“Authentic and Delicious”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

WE often stop here for the seafood burrito or their great chili rellenos. They never disappoint us with the quality or size of the serving. So tasty!

Reviewed 25 June 2014

So happy to have this new restaurant in town. Much better than the previous Mexican. I am love Mexican food and have visited many different places, and i must say this is one of the best . Food was delicious, served hot and on time. Staff was friendly. and the environment was great. I will certainly be coming back ! highly recommend it.

“Great for Lunch”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

I've eaten here twice since at this newly opened restaurant and each time was delicious. We were seated promptly, drink orders quickly taken and served, chips and salsa (which was delicious) as served promptly, meal orders taken and food served in a timely fashion. Now for the even better news, the food is great. They have a wonderful lunch menu which is tasty and a good value. I especially like the pick one, two, three option which allows me to have a smaller meal. But even the smaller entrees come with tasty refried beans and rice. We've had tacos, burritos, enchiladas, salsa salad, and fajhitas and all was delicious. We did have to flag the server to bring drink refills, but other than that just about perfect.

“Nothing Mexican”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Unfortunately, there's nothing Mexican about this restaurant except the name (sort of) and some decent beers.

The food is bland and tasteless. It's the worst kind of Americanized-because-Americans-don't-really-like-authentic-ethnic-food you can imagine.

This poor imitation replaces El Charrito, which had its detractors but at least served food that Mexicans would recognize as Mexican.

Very disappointed--I recommend you avoid.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

If you know Mexican flavors, be prepared to be disappointed. Cilantro overload. It's in every dish, which wouldn't be too bad if other flavors were present. Sauces were neither tangy nor hot. Sides could have come from a frozen box--totally lacking in imagination and zest. The pico de gallo was all onions (and cilantro). The menu was fairly typical, but a specialty of the house would improve matters. NO paella, no menudo, little chorizo. Close your eyes and you won't know if you're eating rellenos, burritos, or enchiladas.
