“Pick a band that catches your attention, and go see them here!”

If you think you're going to like the style of music advertised, then buy a ticket!

They have big acts like Crack the Sky and Marshall Tucker Band and also cover bands that may suit your style. Some shows are seated in folding chairs and some are standing/dancing room only. This will be noted on the website and ticket. Tickets are easy to buy online and they will have your name on the list at the door. Printing not necessary.

The place is quite small and you will be really close to the band!!

However, VIP seating is upstairs and farther away, so that does not appeal to me.

It is very dark in here, just beware. There is a cement floor and a few small bar tables and stools. Sometimes it is too hot and sometimes it is freezing.

You are not coming here for a stylish atmosphere!! You are coming here to hear the music, and the music sounds great!!

Having been here a couple of times, I think someone needs to put some money into Tally Ho to make it better. This area could pull a lot better acts if the place did some work.

Pros: The sound is good, they have good food and drinks, parking is good in the garage, and it's right in the middle of town so you can hit other restaurants and bars before or after.

Cons: it's hot in there, they need a better HVAC system. The bar at the top of the stairs behind the General "Standing" area is noisy. So you are hearing a bar crowd along with the music. There is just one stairway to get to the lower standing area, so it get real congested and is hard to see in the dark. So getting a drink in the middle of a show is difficult.

We'll still go there for shows because it's close to home, but I wish someone would put some more money into this gem.

The venue is perfect to see a band, with the sloping floor, there is almost no way your view is obstructed. There are two bars with bartenders that give a good pour and a quick turn around on service. The 'taco shop' next door is also a good bite.

We saw Howard Jones perform there. Excellent concert, great food and beverages. We will definitely be back!

Just caught the Gin Blossoms last night. What a great venue--small, intimate, and easy to interact with the performers. Great drink selection but a bit pricey. We enjoyed general admission which granted access front and center without having to get there early or fight any crowds. Not sure VIP seating would've been worth the money for this show. Will definitely be back if they book similar talent as the Gin Blossoms.
