If you're looking for a great relaxing environment, then you need to check out Shoe's Cup & Cork. The name is odd, but this establishment a great hidden gem in Leesburg!

There are no servers, so you order what you want to eat and drink up front, and have the luxury to relax without having a waiter hassle you to leave to make room for the next patron. That said, the staff there is very nice, and quite attentive.

There are tables and chairs if you want to have a meal, and there are more relaxing couches, and a bocce ball court set in the back area.

If you do nothing else, make sure to try the mango moscato! You can only buy it by the bottle, but you won't be sorry you made the purchase!

Historic downtown Leesburg is home to this creative restaurant who's former life was as a shoe store. An invitingly narrow alley leads to the secret garden outdoor seating where I had a delicious and tender pork tenderloin with cauliflower mash on tangy, but not bitter, mustard greens. The ale was good in a frosty mug, but I'm a lightweight who can't finish 22 ounces of beer. Homemade apple pie and a correctly brewed cup of black tea finished it all off nicely. There is free parking in the garage nearby.

This is a great find hidden away in downtown Leesburg. The front has great old-time atmosphere. The garden entrance is through a narrow opening between the buildings and opens into a magical courtyard with trees and flowers and rocking garden seating. It is just lovely. I wanted a very healthy meal so I had a small green salad with plain roasted chicken on it, and it was delicious. It's hard to find plain healthy food in a restaurant, and to find it affordable is even better. We biked to Shoe's from the W&OD trail at King Street. They also have live music which I will definitely be going back for. This is a gem and I hope it gets plenty of business!

walking around friday evening looking for a sandwich place for saturday afternoon, we decided to walk down this hidden little alley and boy were were glad we did or else we would never have discovered Shoe's secret garden. competed in a half marathon saturday morning then went here to celebrate with a delicious italian sandwich. It was perfect! my italian husband and i split the sandwich and had 2 glasses of wine (wine prices are a bit high - only reason why this place does not get an excellent). bocce area is well kept - we would have played a game or two but i was too tired. just the right amount of cold cuts and they kept it traditional by not adding mayo or other useless condiments. staff was very friendly and attentive. will certainly return again.

This is a very unique rennovated shoe shop that has a wide selection of food items and a pretty nice beer and wine menu. We have never eaten here so I cant comment on the food but we have enjoyed the somewhat secret back gardens. The back is set between the two side buildings and offers several very comfortable couched seating areas- with heaters if it is cold. The main attraction is the full length Bocci court with bar type seating all around. Great for a crowd or just date night. There is a convenient bar out back for easy access to food and beverages.
